Men are at Fullerton hoping to avenge a 78-74 home loss. We were bad that game. Didn’t shoot well, not very active on defense, and not agressive on either end. Yet it was a 4 point game. Winnable game but we have to match their aggressive play. 1 point underdogs,

We really need to win this game and have a bit of momentum going up against Santa Barbara on Thursday.

It’ll be interesting to see if Les continues with the altered starting lineup. Seems like it gives us a better defensive team out there initially. Plus a lot of firepower off the bench. Let go Ags!

This game is scheduled for a 7:30 pm tipoff in Fullerton and will be televised on ESPN3. Also, the Irvine at Santa Barbara game just started and it's on ESPNU.

Fuller, having a great game, had a spectacular reverse kay-up with about 4 minutes to go.

Nuefeld and Mooney combine for 6 and we win a big road game. Great contributions from a lot of guys

Great overall win tonight. Fuller was so much more aggressive then he has been. Funny we didn’t need joe tonight. Everyone else was working so well. Big win!

Recap says we had 34 points in the paint, which is the complete opposite of the last time we played them. For those who watched, what or who was the difference? Did they lead to more open looks from the arc?

absolutely. Of course most of the points in the paint came from drives, mostly from Fuller and to a lesser extent Peppers. Fullerton was forced to slough off the perimeter and that left printup wide open early. They still tried to stay on Mooney and Gonzo but it seemed like our secondary shooters were getting the shots. Gonzo still got some shots off as he has a much faster trigger, while Joe was more content to help move the ball around. Honestly this was the best we’ve looked offensively in a while

Seems like the Aggies gave up a lot of points in the paint as well. What were the stats on the Titans PIP?

We kept counterpunching when Fullerton would make a run to cut the lead. I think they got it down to 3 in the last minute or so. They started pounding the ball inside and getting drawing fouls and getting offensive rebounds. Koehler fouled out and Neufeld had 4. We need more depth in the interior especially against teams that are so physical and athletic inside like Fullerton. We kept battling though and got the job done.

We'll have our hands full with Amadou Sow next Thursday. I'm not sure how we're going to be able to contain his length and physical ability.

Interestingly, both teams had 34 in the paint. The difference was that Fullerton had 15 second chance points to our 8, pounded us on the boards 36-26 and had more fast break points 12-7 yet we still found a way to win.

It was the first time that I’ve seen Fuller and Printup on the floor together as the “bigs”. I like it as a change up on the offensive side as both can hit from the outside and use their speed to get to the rim. But it does kill us on the defensive side.
