I'm sure that Cal will have plenty of tape on us. It's a major FBS program that's trying to build back up. They won't take the game against Davis lightly.

EWU being ranked 4th in Big Sky and 10th overall seems questionable to me. I know that they lost several key players, but Barriere looks legit and I think their offense alone makes them extremely dangerous. Likewise, I think being ranked 7th overall for Montana State is an outlier in most polls that I have seen.

Being an underdog and surprising opponents is fun, but I don't mind embracing a culture of winning again at UC Davis. Back in the D2 days teams used to dread playing Davis because they knew they were going to get stomped. That's how NDSU is right now in FCS and I really wouldn't mind Davis being there as well.

Yeah, I have a family member who lived in Spokane for awhile. He had his truck broken into on more than one occasion and even had someone try to break into his house. From what I understand it's a genuinely undesirable place to live. Hope that both of the players are able to make full recoveries.

Uhhhh... so Jaalen Rening has deleted his commitment post. Hasn't stated that he is no longer committed, but that's probably not a great sign.

OL Wyatt Hansen decides to stay instate and commits to EWU

Yep, it's a practice that has frustrated me for several seasons of putting the recruiting lists together because it really only effects guys who are at the border regions between 2 and 3 stars. The guys who are 4 and 5 stars are all going FBS so it doesn't really matter all that much. Just has to be disheartening for players to make their commitment, be stoked about a great moment, and then see that they get "downgraded" because of it.

Yeah according to 247 we HAD 4 different 3 star commits. Unfortunately 247 has a practice of adjusting star rating based on location of commitment. They drop ratings of players that commit to FCS and raise those to FBS. Harper and Hightower were dropped to 2 star players AFTER their commitments.
