"leave no doubt" is a pretty common phrase in sports, so it's kind of silly that EWU thinks that they have some sort of ownership over it.

I'll try to catch some games this season, but I'm on the east coast so night weekday games are tough for me.

Can I just say how much I love that this forum is booming again. Activity dwindled down to next to nothing during the Ron Gould era.

I'm hoping that the defense can rattle him early. Get some early sacks and throw him off his game. Easier said than done, but if we can get in his head maybe his inexperience will show.

From reading EWUs forum when Barriere first started they had him running Gubruds offense. They've changed it up since to tailor to his talents. Quick passes and read option. He's still dangerous.

Oh in terms of our drive, probably just chewing the clock up. We already had the game won.

Realistically, NAU was doing better with the run than they were passing. Outside of the long pass to Butler, he was 3/11 for 17 yards and an interception. That being said you run the clock when rushing... idk the game was over and they just wanted to get out of there.

What makes them so scary this season is that they have developed a balanced attack too. EWU has been an air raid offense for the last several seasons, but McPherson, Custer, and now Barriere are doing significant damage on the ground. One of those teams that defenses are going to have fits over cause there is no way to stop everything they throw at you.

Folsom QB Kaiden Bennett has committed to Boise State.

Massey is currently giving EWU the edge entirely based on home field advantage. On a neutral field they just barely give the edge to the Aggies. This has all the makings of an incredible match up. I just hope the Aggies can put together a full 4 quarters. That is something that we've struggled with this season, but we cannot afford to take a quarter off against these guys.

Eastern Washington is as real as they come, even without Gubrud. Here are some of their impact players... Like Davis, they have a lot of guys playing on both sides of the ball. Not a 1 trick pony by any means.

Nice win! Would have liked to have limited them to less than 20 considering their QB situation, but I'll still take the W any day. There are some things that we need to clean up before next week's game. Who would have thought 2 years ago that we would be right in it for Big Sky champs with 2 weeks left in the season? Crazy stuff.
