I don't necessarily disagree with you, but these are the types of things that recruits see when they come on official visits. Davis is fielding a good team right now and that helps, but the glitz and glamour definitely help in the process.

Yes. From pictures that I have seen, the locker room at Aggie Stadium resembles a high school stadium locker room. Bland walls, metal lockers, ect. For comparisons sake, this is Montana's locker room.

They are box suites that typically have catered food and whatnot. They are usually used for businesses or big time doners to schmooze.

Exactly. If people on here are talking about stadium expansion for a potential future in FBS, then we should be going with all of the bells and whistles. Big money types use the sky boxes.

I don't see why skyboxes would be out of the picture someday. Like Fugawe said, some Big Sky schools already have them. Good place for potential investors to watch a game.

I was talking about the success on field. I would love for the Aggies to be the favorites for the national championship year in and year out. Stanford is good, but they aren't Alabama. I don't think Davis or Hawkins have patience for academic laxity.

Kevin Blue and Dan Hawkins are the two best things to happen for the football program in a long long time. Hawkins has an infectious energy in how he conducts himself and how he recruits. Looking at Hero Sports the recruits we have for this upcoming class is again looking like one of the strongest in the Big Sky with several guys being up there on their national commit list. I would love to see Davis become the west coast NDSU, but we still have a long ways to go before that is the case... that being said, look at where we were at just 2 years ago.

I honestly think NDSU is an exception to that situation. I think they would transition and be just fine. They wouldn't be a powerhouse by any means but they would be far from the basement. If I remember correctly they have beaten every FBS team they've played in the last 7 or 8 years including teams that aren't pushovers.

You're not wrong. Sagarin currently has NDSU ranked at 32... that ranking includes FCS and FBS.

From the highlights it looks like what I would expect from a TO team. Defense is going to have to contain and not allow the big play. I think our offense should be able to do some damage to them though.

Could you imagine Aggie Stadium having skybox suites one day? That would be cool for sure.
