Yeah we a good handful of new offers out. I've been a little bit busy, but I'll try to get them posted within the next couple of days.

New offer on DE Tava Finau out of Sacramento. Holds a good handful of FBS offers as well as a couple of Big Sky offers.

Another new offer out this night on WR Mozes Mooney. Had over 1000 yards receiving last season and hauled in 17 TDs. His dad was in the Army and he sounded pretty excited about his offer from Army on twitter.

New offer on RB Martell Irby. He sounds very excited by this offer. Rushed for over 1700 yards last season and had 22 TDs.

Another new offer tonight on another QB. This one is 2 star Carson Baker from Helix High School. Only holds FCS offers right now.

I'm a youngin, but I was there for the O'Sullivan years at least. We need to find another O'Brien, Jones, O'Sullivan, Grieb, Petersen, ect.

New offer out on 3 star QB Steven Comstock from Covina, CA. True dual-threat QB. Threw for almost 2700 yards, 30 TDs, with 8 INTs. Ran for over 800 yards tacking on 14 TDs. Hold a couple FBS offers and another Big Sky offer (EWU).

We are going hard after QB early in the recruiting season. I'm assuming the coaching staff sees this as a big position of need.

New offer out on WR Chris Olave. He holds 4 FBS offers in addition to our offer. I believe that he is the younger brother of current Aggie, CB Isiah Olave.

New offer on 3 star QB Jeremy Moussa. Last season threw for over 4000 yards, 56 TDs, 5 ints, with over 61% completions. He already holds a good handful of FBS offers.

That was quick. QB Jalen Chatman has committed to Rutgers. Looks like he jumped at the 1st big time offer he got. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he flipped somewhere down the road.

New offer on OL Garrett Curran from Granite Hills High School in El Cajon, CA. As a junior was named 2nd team All-CIF OL. We're his first offer.

In the last couple of years we have Khris Vaughn, Jared Harrell, Bransin Johnson, Kristian Gilbert, Brandon Jamison, and Logan Montgomery all of which were rated 3 stars by at least one of the major recruiting sites.

So we're getting some 3 star guys. It looks like Hawk is putting out offers on a higher volume of 3 star athletes than Gould was, however. I want to be clear though that the star ranking system is not a great indicator of success in college football until you get to 4 and 5 star athletes.

For those who haven't watched some of Maier highlights, here's his hudl page. It looks like the guy can ball. Looks like he has a strong arm and while I wouldn't really call him a dual-threat, he can move in the pocket and pull it down and run if need be.

New offer out on 3 star QB, Jalen Chatman. This kid is the real deal. His junior year he threw for 3926 yards while completing 69% of his passes. Tossed 52 touchdowns with only 9 interceptions, good enough for a QB rating of 136. On top of that he rushed for over 600 yards.

1st team All-State, Junior POTY, while keeping a 4.0 GPA.

I find this so interesting. I think Gould and staff as well as the fans had always kind of pegged Spencer as the QB of the future. Weird that he has fallen so far. Accuracy definitely wasn't a strength of his in HS and I guess that he wasn't able to improve on it. I wonder where else they are thinking of playing him? Hawkins isn't a coach who is afraid of things. He absolutely will start a freshman if he thinks that they will give us the best chance of winning.

Wow, that's an interesting development regarding Spencer. I agree that we need to just pick a guy and go with it and only change if it's really a disaster. Always kind of frustrating how Gould would at least say that a guy wasn't picked until the week of the 1st gsme although he may have actually picked one earlier than that.
