Football Stadium Expansion The 7 pm games at the Toom were the norm and the place was always packed and I think the early season games at Aggie Stadium would have much higher attendance if they started at 7 pm when it's much cooler in the stadium.
The extreme heat in Aggie Stadium is a big detriment to fan attendance in the early season and, with climate warming, it's not going to get any better anytime soon. The angle of the setting sun is also a huge problem for the students and anyone on the east side. Just look at how fans chase every dab of shade in the stadium when it's hot. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit on the east side getting fried with the sun directly in their eyes during the early season games.
