The 7 pm games at the Toom were the norm and the place was always packed and I think the early season games at Aggie Stadium would have much higher attendance if they started at 7 pm when it's much cooler in the stadium.

The extreme heat in Aggie Stadium is a big detriment to fan attendance in the early season and, with climate warming, it's not going to get any better anytime soon. The angle of the setting sun is also a huge problem for the students and anyone on the east side. Just look at how fans chase every dab of shade in the stadium when it's hot. I can't imagine anyone wanting to sit on the east side getting fried with the sun directly in their eyes during the early season games.

I know. Those years we had at UCD were formative and special in many ways. I can barely find my way around some areas of the campus anymore because it has grown and changed so much since I was there but it always solicits memories of times long gone...

I think that any improvements and expansion should include shade structures with picnic tables and lots of trees so fans have somewhere to get out of the heat and enjoy themselves before the game during the hot months.

At 6'7 and 215 he looks like he may be a wider body than Goode and looks like he'll certainly score more. He hasn't put up big numbers in international play...12.7 ppg and 7 rebounds per game but he is shooting around 40% so that will be good for us since Garrison really doesn't look to score much. I expect he'll be a bit raw and will find the American game faster and more physical and he will need to time to adjust just like we're seeing with Caleb Fuller.

I'm still hoping we'll see Les bring a a legitimate big man...6'9+...that is agile in the paint to give us an inside presence so we aren't so perimeter oriented and one dimensional.

At least he likes dark beer but he won't like that the drinking age in California is 21!
