Send that pic to the Athletics Department. I'm sure they'll post it on the social wall on their website.

I just watched the replay and I take back my original criticism of the Montana announcers. Sure, they were homers but they were fair and very complimentary of the Aggies for the most part. They were particularly impressed with Maier, the quick strike Aggie offense and the stellar job by the Aggie defense.

The game did look a little chippy at times in the first half but, for what I could see, it was a hard fought clean game with some tough hitting going on. I especially like the fact that the Ags controlled their emotions in the second half and went about their business without a lot of celebrating or trying to show up the Griz.

Most impressive to me was how Maier controls the game and is able to make throws under heavy pressure from awkward positions. Our defense overall was really good and Devon King had the game of his young career as an Ag along with Mason Moe who had a monster game. Once our offense got in a rhythm they were off to the races. Impressive.

Montana and the Aggies are both young teams so we should have a heck of a game when they come to Aggie Stadium next year.

This was indeed a signature win for the Aggies in the D1 era.

I like this game a lot! Just might have to make a trip to Corvallis. We've got relatives in Newport and Corvallis is a cool town.

The UC Davis Aggies will play at the Oregon State Beavers in 2023, FBSchedules.com has learned.

UC Davis will travel to play Oregon State at Reser Stadium in Corvallis on Sept. 9, 2023. The Aggies will receive a $635,000 guarantee for the game, according to a copy of the contract obtained from the University of California, Davis via a state public records request.

UC Davis and Oregon State have met four times on the gridiron, and all four games were played during a span from 1927 through 1930. The Beavers lead the series 4-0.

The addition of UC Davis tentatively completes Oregon State’s 2023 non-conference football schedule. The Beavers are also scheduled to open the season at Boise State on Sept. 2 and host San Diego State on Sept. 16.

I believe Montgomery may have had a season ending injury that occurred before the season began. If that's the case, hopefully, he'll be back next year after an injury redshirt.

I know. I wonder how long ago that was? Fullerton played football from 1970-1992 and Wa-Griz Stadium opened in 1986.

They have some fans who are very upset commenting about that video clip posted on twitter that was mentioned in a post above claiming...sour grapes if you ask me...

And...they had 2 weeks to get more healthy and to watch film and prepare for us. This must be one of our most "challenging" wins ever...

Mark your calendars for September 28th next year when the Griz come to town. They'll want some payback in our house. Should be a good one...

So we play 12 games in 2019 and could still only get 5 at home...that kinda sucks... We always seem to have 6 away and 5 at home in the typical 11 game year so you would think that when we play 12 we'd get 6 at home.

I figured so much. I'm about to watch the replay...I may have to turn the sound off...
  • Week 9: UC Davis @ Montana
I think it's hard to determine if Baumgart was intentionally trying to hit Sneed with his knee but the Montana fans are certainly crying "dirty" loud and clear. One guy thinks the film should be sent to the Big Sky in an effort to get Baumgart suspended. I'll say one thing for sure, the Ags lit Seed up after he made tried to hurtle a player. There was some hitting' going on!

I think there was a lot of testosterone flowing on the field in that environment and some chippy stuff probably went on by both teams. I'm also getting the feeling that the Griz fans don't take kindly to getting beaten like that in their house. They, along with their announcers, were crying sour grapes during the game and now are still looking for reasons to cry foul.

Makes me even more impressed that the Aggies went into an environment like that and beat them running away. The seeds of a good rivalry might just have been sowed...
