I honestly believe anyone can be anyone on any given day in this league. There are no absolute gimmes. If you don't come to play, your opponent will make you pay... The Ags need to play well to win this game...

Once Doss and Maier are gone the Big Sky will be all the Aggies can handle, trust me.

Polydad...we are much more than Doss and Maier...much, much more....

Absolutely agree...we've got quite a few weapons this year. Maier has spread the ball all over the receiving corps...as many as 10 different receivers in a single game...so when teams double or triple Doss we've got other receivers with good hands who run nice routes.

We've got depth at RB too. Gilliam is brilliant and the best is yet to come from this kid...he can cut on a dime and is patient following his blockers. Thomas is a big, fast and agile and Modise is very good too. All of them can catch the ball coming out of the backfield also. Stack the LOS and you're vulnerable to our WR's on the fly sweep. We've got a lot of options we can throw at teams.

I really like playing Cal in 3 of the next 5 years and, if we continue to get better, we have a shot at another historic upset...

Gives me chills every time I watch this clip. Biggs was as good as Sochor IMO...all class...great pre-game speech without a bunch of rah-rah, jumping up and down crap...just gave his team a message about Aggie Pride and they went out an made us all proud...should be shown as part of Freshman Orientation...

It was great to see that most of the students stayed to the end of the game despite us being behind big at the start of the 4th and sitting in the heat with the sun in their eyes. They got to see a classic and I hope they'll come back for our final two home games.

Per the contract, Cal will pay UC Davis a $650,000 guarantee for the game in 2022 and a $675,000 guarantee for the game in 2024.

Cal and UC Davis previously announced a game that is scheduled for Aug. 31, 2019. The Golden Bears will pay the Aggies a $625,000 guarantee for that contest.

MSU @ Weber is a biggie in the conference this week. I also think that ISU has a tough game coming off their heartbreaking loss to us and now having to travel across the country to play a decent non-conference opponent. I hope they don't let down. The way I see it is that the more the teams we have beaten win, the better it is for us when it comes to a possible playoff berth.

We know that the Aggie offense can light up the scoreboard. The big question in my mind, however, is whether or not the Aggie defense can prevent Poly from chewing up the clock on the ground and controlling the tempo of the game? We looked pretty porous against the run in the Idaho State game.
