WBB: CS Fullerton (4-16 & 1-6) @ the Aggies (14-6 & 5-2)

    The Aggies will try for their second win over the Fullerton this season when the Titans come to the Pavilion for the first game of a double header at 2:30 pm Saturday. The Ags are coming off an impressive 19 point win over Riverside on Thursday and previously beat the Titans 70-51 just nine days ago.

    Coach Jen Gross will be looking to see her team continue to play at the high level they are capable of like they did against Riverside. One major area in need of improvement is rebounding especially on the defensive boards. The Ags are allowing way to many offensive rebounds and good teams will make you pay for that.

    This should be a fun day for Aggie basketball fans. Come on out to the Pavilion and cheer on the Ags as they take on the Titans followed by the men battling first place UC Irvine at 5pm.

    The Aggies overcame a lackluster offensive performance with great defense and beat the Titans 59-39. The Ags forced 24 TO's to offset 34% shooting from the field. Morgan Bertsch was held to 2 points. Good teams find a way to win when they don't play their best and the Ags did just that.

    Didn't get to stream this game because I was at a different game but nice W, even if it sounds like it wasn't our slickest outing. It's an exciting time to be a UCD sports fan.

    The team was SO COLD for 3/4 of the game and then put 5-6 shots in a row through the hoop and that was it. Good D, lots of jumped lanes and deflected passes.
