From the web-site:Under Conners' direction, the Aggies dominated the Big West in 2025, rewriting the record books along the way. UC Davis set program and individual milestones, including the most conference wins in a single season, the first Big West championship in school history, the most career wins by a head coach, and the program's first-ever undefeated home season.
This happened because of Dan's building the program and learning how to win and be successful, at UCD. Not an easy task. It took many seasons and recruiting classes to set this high water mark. Best of luck to Dan and his team at the BWC tourney!

And from the Big West site:

Big West Coach of the Year Dan Conners became UC Davis’ all-time winningest coach in the final weeks of the regular season, sporting 171 wins in 11 seasons. This is a first career coaching nod for Conners, and just the second Aggie coach to earn conference honors (Jamie Holmes, 2009). Conners now reigns with the most career wins in The Big West among active coaches.

    Well-deserved!!

NCAA tournament for the Aggie waterpolo starts today. We play the 3rd seeded Stanford squad in their home pool. UCD is seeded 6th. I was at the September game against the Cardinals. We shot well from the outside and the Stanford goalie did NOT have a sharp game. The Cardinals scored most of their goals from Aggie turnovers. It would be a big upset but tighter team defense and then shooting like we own the Cardinal keeper could lead to an upset. For the Cardinal to win the tournament they have to win 3 games in 3 days at their home pool. We are in a good position--GO AGS l

Cal Poly is doing very well in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, defeating BYU in the first round and USC in the second. Next up is Kentucky, the top seed in their corner of the bracket.

Wow...those are some signature wins for Poly. I watched them beat the Ags in the BW Tournament and they looked very tough. They had really powerful kills and some wicked serving.
