Alright lets get some predictions going for today... and why not go bold:

- Maier throws for 300+ yards
- Doss goes over 150 yards
- Thomas rushes for close to (but not quite) 100 yards
- Defense forces at least 1 turnover

Hahaha I'm pretty sure SJSU has 0 five star players. They are almost exclusively for power conference teams. I saw that over on their fan forum that a lot of people are a predicting a spartan win by several TDs. We'll see tomorrow, but they don't have much evidence to think that they should blow us out of the water.

I would prefer some serious coverage and that is where my frustrations with Bruce came from. During the Gould era he would refuse to address the issues with the team and only talked about he was a good person ect ect. Obviously there are some positions we know, but I just can't stand seeing ORs for 3 deep. Just list the whole roster again at that point.

Bruce has been better in the Hawkins era. He was intolerable during Gould's tenure though.

I know there are people here that disagree with me, but the ORs on the depth chart still bug the daylights out of me. As a fan of the team, I just want to know who is going to be playing!

I live on the east coast so driving there isn't super convenient. Was counting on that stream...

Hahaha even if that were the case they are supposedly the ONLY FBS team to not offer a stream of week 1... that is insane especially for a university in one of the tech capitals of the world.

Who knows, from what I can tell the only way to get the game is radio and they might have a live stat tracker. That is archaic and totally absurd that we aren't getting a video stream in 2018.

Per Kevin Blue, there is going to be NO online stream of the game. Radio only. SJSU only FBS team apparently to not offer stream for week 1. Holy hell, it's 2018...

And I'm not saying the kid is a bad RB by any means. We will definitely have to be on top of him and make sure he doesn't get in rhythm. I just disagree with crediting players with something they didn't get.

Those are his raw stats... rushing attempts, rushing yards, and touchdowns. Sure he didn't play in 2 games but I still disagree. He netted 670 yards, you just can't call that a 1000 yard rusher. His avg yards per game was 60. Add 120 yards for the 2 games he missed and that is still only 800 yards.

Poly was their 2nd game of the season. Nevens did not play in that game.
