Jojo Falo has committed to Air Force.

While we didn't hear anything about Eason today, we did get a commitment that I missed. OL William George from Lincoln High School. GO AGS!!

Sooooo... I guess we aren't going to hear anything official from Eason tonight at this point. He may have made his decision, but is choosing not to announce it? I don't know, seems kinda weird to hype his decision all week and then not say anything. Maybe tomorrow.

Today was a quiet period, Monday though Thursday are dead days. So yeah, little contact with the recruits at this point.

Nope and I've been checking occasionally today. It's weird we haven't seen anything yet. He made several tweets saying that he would be announcing today... maybe it's a tougher decision than he thought earlier in the week.

The signing period starts on Feb 1st

3 star dual threat QB Jalani Eason should be making his announcement sometime today. His final 2 choices are UC Davis and Portland State. I personally think he goes PSU because of how many QBs we already have committed. Keep an eye out for it.

Ouch... Sac State loses their prize recruit, LB Tysyn Parker, to SJSU. Not gonna lose sleep over that one 8-)

I've been able to find that 2 of our offers took official visits this weekend. GO AGS!

In 11 games this last season, he had 22.5 tackles for losses and 15.5 sacks.

That's a given though, 6th! I know the AST community is on top of it!

Good ideas guys, I can make a new thread for signing day.

That is definitely something I can look into doing on the list on signing day. If Hawk and crew do things relatively similarly to Gould, then they will be posting individual twitter posts for each player that signs. I, and others are welcome to as well, will be posting those here and they might have their other offers. Otherwise I can go through the recruiting sites and put it all together. Thanks for the suggestion.

We've been out of that race for a long time. Same with Jojo Falo and Andrew Nichols on the other side of the ball. They have all had Davis at the "No Interest" level on the recruiting sites for a long time now. Just haven't moved them on the list because they haven't actually committed somewhere yet. Maybe that will be a category I add for the recruiting list next season, so we would have: Committed, Offers (broken down by position), No Interest, and Committed Elsewhere.

Yeah I wasn't sure if Layton was scholarship or not. Anyway, Hawk clearly wants to land another RB before all is said and done.

We also have Justin Williams at RB, he wasn't a walk on... at least I'm pretty sure he was a scholarship athlete. In this upcoming class we have committed RB Tehran Thomas, who was a wildcat QB in high school, and ATH Jordan Perryman, RB was one of the many positions he played (not sure if he is actually committed to play RB). I think our size at DE is fine, we have lost some size in the middle though.

In reference to Namane Modise, I went back and looked on twitter and apparently he did commit to SELA, but he has since deleted the tweet where he announced. There are a lot of retweets on his account congratulating him on committing to SELA from around Dec 10th, but the tweet that he was retweeting at the time is no longer available... so deleted. Take that as you will I guess.

His account also doesn't have any mention of being a SELA commit or anything like that in the profile.
