I was honestly pretty surprised about some of the stuff I read today. I just can't imagine being that upset about a football game pushing a decade later. Some of the folks were I think honestly confused about why they were being blocked... maybe you shouldn't harass a guy for several years after he has left the program. Not that I had a real opinion of CU before today, but it sure went down.

There were several problems there during Hawk's tenure. I've even read some stuff from CU fans, looking back on the situation, that Cody wasn't a main problem. In fact, he was probably one of the better players on a bad team. The QB isn't entirely responsible for giving up a 28 point lead. Gotta blame the defense too. People always look for a scapegoat after a big loss and QBs are easy targets no matter how well or poorly they played.

That's why I had to turn it off. No chance for the Aggies with the book being thrown at em this hard. These refs are a disgrace to the game.

Alright I'm turning the game off. No need for me to get all angry but these refs have destroyed this game.

Minute and a half into the 2nd and we have 2 fouls called already. Apparently the refs didn't talk this over during the break.

Air Force knocks down a buzzer beater to take the lead. 18 fouls on the Aggies in the first half. Refs are making this game their own, sure some calls are legit but for the most part this has been a horrendously officiated game.

17 fouls. We're not going to have any players left to play come 2nd half.

We're up to 16 team fouls on the Aggies in the 1st half. Another ticky tacky call by the refs.

White goes down with a non contact knee injury.

Atrocious call.... good it just got reversed. How in the hell could that be called an offensive foul... these refs man.

And the refs are continuing their nonsense. Ags are up to 10 fouls in the first 12 minutes of the game.

Make that 11.

Refs are being pretty whistle happy, Ags going to be in foul trouble early.

They remain for right now. That could be subject to change.

Per footballscoop.com and coachingsearch.com Cha'pelle Brown, who has coached secondary at NAU the last 2 seasons, will be joining Hawkins' staff as the defensive backs coach. Played at Colorado (under Hawkins) and was also a graduate assistant there as well as at the University of Oregon.

Does this put Coach Nurse on the speculated out list?

Yep, his only knock that I see is his speed. He isn't slow by any means, but doesn't have that top notch speed necessary for the tip top level. He runs a 4.6 40 by the way. If he was slightly faster he would have way more offers and he already has several FBS offers as it stands. With his size and hands though, he could be a real factor at the FCS level.

Yeah he played like 7 games (injury I assume) and still ended up with 130 tackles or something like that.
