Anyone hear or see anything on the transfer of Quarterback Brock Johnson out of Mission Viejo?

I would think that Coach Nurse will still be around as he goes back to the days at Boise with Coach Hawk. Need to keep a few coaches on staff to make an easy first year transition and keep ties with recruits. The need for both Offensive and Defensive Coordinators will be where the next big splash needs to come from. I would venture to say that these two positions will be filled by two qualified coaches, that can also recruit at the highest level.

I think he will have great connections and have the ability to bring in a great staff. His son was a great QB and has been working in the coaching ranks and wouldn't be surprised to see him find his way onto the staff. Will be great to see the names that come with Hawk.
  • BREAKING: Dan Hawkins to be named UC Davis head football coach
This was the exact hire that UC Davis needed. This has already stirred national attention and he will greatly impact recruiting. It will be interesting to see the staff he brings along but this will be a start of a new era. Former player under Hawkins and the Blue Collar hard work ethic will be evident in the program, and look for this to turn around quickly. Let's get him out on the recruiting trail and get things started. Great hire by Blue and looks like the athletic department is moving in the right direction. National attention brings more students, more athletes, and more fans.
