We definitely were thrilled with the result. It was pretty tense. Back in Vegas for the night, going to enjoy the rest of this weekend.

    13 minutes to kick
  • 2025 Big Sky Football Games Week 1

Slingin' it, UNLV didn't look super in synch either

45 min. to kick. We are outside the stadium taking some shade.

It's 96 degrees and that temp hasn't budged for the.last 45 min, little to no wind, maybe 20% humidity.

With the altitude, it adds up to an effect.for sure.

Are we starting the year off with new experiences?

First time playing at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, AL
First time playing at Greater Zion in St. George, UT
First time playing at Husky Stadium in Seattle, WA

    Good times, wild rides

AgAlum is correct --- 8 pm St. George, UT time, or 7 pm Las Vegas time (PT)

You know, the Aggies better get up for this game -- Utah Tech is a growing program, they've got a lot of Utah/BYU transfers and they are fresh as this is their 2025 opener.

Trailblazers were playing tough to end 2024:
Played Austin Peay tough at home (L 7-13)
Beat Central Arkansas at home (W 34-21)
Lost vs. West Georgia (L 31-34)
Played Southern Utah tough in Cedar City (L 34-37 in 2 OT)

I don't remember if it was canceled, and maybe Brock and Dwight were on the field at the time, but it was a fall afternoon against Portland State, feels like 6 or 7 years ago...(?) - and I felt weird and got out of my seat and headed up to the tunnels at Aggie Stadium because it felt like tornado weather based on the sky and the slow swirling winds, 5 minutes later, the PA cleared the stadium seating and eventually there was a tornado warning for Yolo County in the Davis area.

I think we ended up finishing the game because it was not raining much nor cracking heavy thunder...just a weird weather event.

Me and SochorField will be at Vdara. Come say hi in Vegas if you're hanging out Friday/Saturday morning. Texas is playing at Ohio State at 9 am on Saturday - we're heading to St. George early/mid afternoon - 8 pm kick St. George time. 2 hour drive from Vegas.

Tix are $8...$8! Cheap for sure, parking maybe $5 we'll see.

He had that nice breakaway run in the 4th I think, but yes, Fisher looked good when he had.some space

Good call, Fish did block that punt for a safety, so net result on points is -4 rather than -6. Ridley off to a rough start, needs to turn it around in the higher altitudes of St. George, Utah on Saturday.

Also missed a FG and had a FG blocked - so special teams, FG team, not so good in Alabama. Thought the punt team looked improved from last season.

A lot of slop on Saturday, a couple of huge plays given up defensively, the big pass, then the big run. A rough PI penalty on 3rd and 29 in the end zone. Seemed clear after the humidity and the game wore on, Pinnick was losing accuracy - Mercer had all the momentum. Need to finish!...and polish up those mistakes, also, the offense had like 4 or 5 illegal procedures? Very unsound, and the Aggies did not run the ball consistently at all - running backs were running hard, just didn't see a ton of push up front, and that's of course also a credit to Mercer, who from my perspective, had a ton of athleticism and toughness on defense.
