I base most of my opinion on what I saw in the spring. I like Cleeland. He is a good young developmental player. His play is to be expected at this point in his career. But let’s be honest here, we have played two avg to poor teams and his play has not been earth shattering. It’s been ok. He has shown no running ability with zero rushing yards in two games. He has missed on a handful of throws to open receivers and has been baited into interceptions by DBs. If he cannot run, he will need to be better at his reads and accuracy in the future. Let’s see how he does against superior competition. I still think Kollack is the better overall QB right now.

Kollack to me is the best pure QB on our roster. Cleeland is good, but he isn’t as accurate as he could be. It’s early. Still the Aggies are set at QB.

I absolutely love the TE slip seam. Beautiful football. We got ourselves a legit TE star.

You should get some cardboard advertising signs posted at the stadium. Let people know you the hub for Aggie sports. I think you would grab a ton of subscribers from the first game by the first years.

100% agree with you Dr. The run game was working and should have been used more. I think overall it was just one of those games where everyone was nervous and out of battle rhythm.

Rankings this early in the season are meangingless. I wouldn't put much stock into any poll till week 8.

I can understand projections, but the fact remains they decided to do something and they did it. I think its great they are being proactive. I'm pretty sure they recognize they are not USC, but at the same time if they kept the status quo they were going to lose the program anyway, so why not take a shot?

What can I say, I'm die hard American optimist. I've always said, a good SACST team only helps Davis in the big picture. Rivalries are the heartbeat of good football and we have a natural one. That is pretty rare. While I don't root for them obviously, I'm not rooting for failure either.
