If we can get one great kid....just one...I really think Davis can become a power on the west coast. We have the school, we have the location, we have the alumni....its our time!!!

I think the move to Mountain West will significantly attract good prospects. It blows my mind that Napa has 3 of the top 50 players in the state right down the road. Davis should be all over those kids.

I have to agree here. I'm really thinking of getting involved to bring more attention on campus to sporting events. We need a strong booster club with events for students. I don't know what happened but since I graduated in 2002, it seems Davis is less involved with the university. We should have a downtown area UC Davis sports bar. We need a place for our students and fans to gather for big games. We are missing that big time.

I really like our LB and DB class. These guys could easily be our strength in a couple years.

This is the best class I've ever seen at Davis. Super excited to see these kids on the field. Well done Aggie staff!

Hello quick question:

Who do I talk to get a potential recruit to the coaches. My buddies daughter Tia Reyes just won back to back state JUCO titles for Folsom. She was talking to the old staff, but now that she has left she is not sure who to talk to now.

The kid is dynamite. A solid forward with extreme ball skills and shot creation. During this years playoff she was double-teamed and still was successful. She is a solid student and would be a great Aggie. I need to get her in front of the new staff. Help!

What happens to kids who entered the portal and left school now that the portal is closed? Can they still look for a school in the spring?

Exactly my thinking. When we hosted Montana St I sat behind a couple who traveled first time to California. They were really excited to see the wine country and the Davis campus. They even asked me where everyone goes after the game...I didn't have the heart to tell them, we don't have a place. But we will change that!

There are a couple ideas I'm kicking around. One is to bring in the Anchor Bar - a Buffalo bar franchise that started the wings craze in NY. There are a couple spots this would work. I'd of course remake the decor all Aggies and local Davis sports teams. The focus would be "The Home of Aggie Sports". It would be family oriented but after 9 could turn into a college 21 and over bar. Thanks for your opinion guys, it really helps.

I like Nashville, but the weather in CA would be better IMO. Maybe a rotating bases for a fixed location for a championship game.
