I grew up in Indiana and the heat and humidity can get bad there for sure but the deep south and the southeast are worse. I have relatives in the St Pete area, Atlanta and Savannah and, when the heat and humidity are on, it's practically unbearable...sweaty all the time when you're out and about. I'm so happy I live in northern California even if it is earthquake country. Tornadoes and hurricanes...no thank you!

I have relatives in Florida and, from my experiences visiting there, the heat and humidity is unbelievably oppressive more often than not.

Apparently he turned down an offer to be on the Raider's practice squad and opted to go to Jacksonville. The Raiders are stuffed full of WR's...

I watched a little of the Poly game for a few minutes and they scored twice on back-to-back long bombs of 55 and 60 yards. I hope we can exploit San Diego's defense like that next week.

Really big bombs: 55 & 60 followed by a 23 yard strike. Poly was up 52-13 before SD scored the last 3 TD's...

I was really impressed with both SDSU and UNI. I'm just hoping that Cal's defense is legitimately on of the Top 10 Defenses in the nation...that would make me feel better about our offensive performance today....

We showed that we most definitely belonged on the field with the Bears. Hawk has the Ags on a fast rise!

Altogether, this was a respectable showing by the Ags. The defense was on the field a lot and played very well overall. They are much improved over last year. I just hope Cal's D is all they have touted to be because we sputtered on offense. Gilliam was impressive.

I think we will see the offense open up against San Diego. Poly put up 52 on them today. I watched a little bit of that game and Poly scored on 3 long bombs...something Poly usually never does...

That was a fumble...this one is pretty much gone....

D is wearing down...can't get any pressure on the QB and their 230 RB is tough to bring down especially against a tired D...

The hit was out of bounds but it was one of those bang bang plays...hard to pull up and stop with a full head of steam
