  • Aggies vs Bears
From the Aggie website article today:

    ABOUT THE OPPONENT

Cal went 7-6 overall with a 4-5 record in the Pac-12 Conference in 2018... The season featured a 12-10 upset of Washington on Oct. 27, and an appearance in the Cheez-It Bowl (against TCU) on Dec. 26... Senior ILB Evan Weaver leads five total Preseason All-Pac-12 picks, along with DE Luc Buquette, CB Camryn Bynum, P Steven Coutts and S Ashtyn Davis... Following a season in which he recorded 159 tackles with 4.5 sacks, two interceptions and six PBUs, Weaver also made preseason watch lists for the Chuck Bednarik Award (collegiate defensive player of the year), Bronko Nagurski Trophy (defensive player of the year) and the Butkus Award (linebacker of the year)...

Third-year head coach Justin Wilcox has numerous connections to UC Davis: he played defensive back at Oregon for Aggie alum Mike Bellotti, began his coaching career as a graduate assistant under Dan Hawkins at Boise State (2001-02), then later served the Broncos as defensive coordinator for UC Davis grad Chris Petersen (2006-09)... Additionally, wide receivers coach Burl Toler III was a member of the Aggie coaching staff (also overseeing WRs) in 2017... Finally, Cal's director of football operations, Denis Hallin, served in the identical capacity for UC Davis from 2013-15 under then-head coach Ron Gould (also a former Cal assistant).

  • Aggies vs Bears
This is a great article about the history of the football games between the Aggies and the Bears. Keep in mind that the article was written just prior to the 2010 game:

Great video...Hawk gets right in there with his players!

  • Prediction time!
Thanks, agalum. I wonder why he stopped posting any comments even though he moved? We have Aggie fans post here from across the country.
  • Prediction time!
I have always wondered what happened to 6th. He was the mainstay of the forum and then one day it seemed like he just disappeared.
  • Looking Forward to 2019
    Whoa...amazing!!

  • Looking Forward to 2019
This is a pretty funny video:

  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
The second article is really interesting since the writer breaks down the catches that Doss made and what Keelan had done to get open and how he used his body in making his catches.

    Interesting article.

FCS: Preseason Betting Odds To Win The 2019 National Title.

Which teams do the oddsmakers think have the best chance to win it all? For example, the betting odds for the Aggies to win the National Championship is +650 which means you would need to bet $100 to win $650.

    Smart, articulate and humble...Aggie Pride...
  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
Doss lead the Raiders tonight with 4 receptions for 52 yards. He ran nice routes and got open and made one circus catch.
  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
It's been weird watching the game being played on a shortened field because of a hole in the end zone left over from the CFL goalpost. I tuned in during the second quarter and thought "what the heck is going on" when the Raiders scored a TD by crossing the 10 yard line. :gasp:
