Gilliam's one-handed catch and getting one foot down in bounds was a highlight reel catch as was Harrell's fully stretched out, diving catch on the sideline while managing to tap his toe in bounds. Both of those catches were incredibly athletic and beautiful.

I grew up in Indiana and the heat and humidity can get bad there for sure but the deep south and the southeast are worse. I have relatives in the St Pete area, Atlanta and Savannah and, when the heat and humidity are on, it's practically unbearable...sweaty all the time when you're out and about. I'm so happy I live in northern California even if it is earthquake country. Tornadoes and hurricanes...no thank you!

I have relatives in Florida and, from my experiences visiting there, the heat and humidity is unbelievably oppressive more often than not.

I watched a little of the Poly game for a few minutes and they scored twice on back-to-back long bombs of 55 and 60 yards. I hope we can exploit San Diego's defense like that next week.

Really big bombs: 55 & 60 followed by a 23 yard strike. Poly was up 52-13 before SD scored the last 3 TD's...

I was really impressed with both SDSU and UNI. I'm just hoping that Cal's defense is legitimately on of the Top 10 Defenses in the nation...that would make me feel better about our offensive performance today....
