    Bravo, Zander...you're hired!

Hahaha... I wish it was fake news and not something written by our athletics department.

Seriously though, did anyone in the department proofread this letter before using it? Who knows how many potential recruits got the same letter? Let's hope their parents didn't read it too carefully.

I'm not trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill but it is embarrassing to send an important letter like this to an athlete, singing the praises of being able to get a "WORLD-CLASS" education at UCD, that is full of grammatical errors. We is smarter than that, ain't we?

The bleachers at The Toom are gone. They were had become a safety hazard and were condemned and removed.

It's been a tough season so far for Poly and, believe me, Aggie fans know your pain and frustration from experience. Big game this week at Sac for the Mustangs and a chance to turn it around. Go Poly!
  • Week 6: UC Davis @ Northern Colorado
An 0-5 team playing in their own house against a ranked conference foe is a dangerous game. We are coming off a bye week as well and good teams can often come out flat after a layoff. We must stay focused and be ready to play hard from start to finish.

Northern Colorado will be fired up and we'll need to match their energy to prevent them from taking an early lead. I think we will do that. Hawkins preaches taking it one game at a time and trying to improve each week. The Ags are hungry after years of mediocrity at best and they know that a loss in a game like this can derail their chances for a playoff berth at the end of the season. Go Ags!

Having grown up in Indiana...add me to the ND list as well. I'd love to go see the Aggies @ Indiana basketball game on November 23rd in Assembly Hall but I don't think I'm going to be able to make that happen...

Thanks and, yes, that’s my photo taken with my iPhone X. Here’s a pano:kiycwxlt4n33d8k6.jpeg

From everything I’ve heard Montana has a great football atmosphere but I can’t imagine a better collegiate atmosphere and game experience than my wife and I had Saturday in Ann Arbor for the Nebraska @ Michigan game. You could just feel the energy and interest everywhere you went in town and on the campus. Everyone was decked out in UM gear. The M Den is like a 2 story department store for Michigan apparel. Everything you can think of is branded from common hats and t-shirts to socks, doggy coats and bikinis and the place was packed everyday we went by it.

The game day experience was the best I’ve ever had. By 8 in the morning the campus and downtown area was alive and energized for the 12 noon kickoff. As we walked to the Big House, the frats and sororities we’re pumping music and the parties were in full swing. The tailgate area was similar to what you would see in Green Bay for a Packers game. The Michigan Marching Band Drum Line was putting on an awesome display. Entry into the Big House was easy and quick even though there were over 111,000 in attendance. No alcohol is served in the stadium though and highy armed security is very present.

The seating is very tight so everyone is wedged in shoulder to shoulder. The pre-game activities were awesome: video clips about the great history of Michigan football with footage of former great players and coaches. The video about the university proudly proclaims at the end, “We are the greatest university in the world,” and the crowd just roared. The Michigan Marching Band (400 strong) made a grand, precision entrance and launched into “Hail to the Victors” and everyone sang along with rhythmic clapping and orchestrated fist pumps. Two skydivers jumped into the field: one with the American flag and another with the UM flag. The whole place heartily sang the National Anthem after they introduced some honorary veterans of the Korean War. It was Maize Day and the stadium was a sea of yellow and the fans know all the cheers and wholeheartedly participate. There is just so much tradition.

The Michigan Marching Band halftime performance was fantastic with precision marching, amazing formations and creative stepping. Incredible precision! The Drum Line performed during one of the tv time outs and the band performed for about 20 minutes after the game. Then lots of fans follow them through the streets to their facility with a motorcycle police escort with the officers wearing stripped helmets like the football team helmets.

We just had a blast. I’d pay an arm and a leg to attend a game against Ohio State in the Big House. If anyone ever gets a chance to attend a Michigan game, just do it!

This game makes me a little nervous for some reason. It feels like it could be a bit of a trap game for us coming off two good wins and a nice performance against Stanford. I hope we're fired up and ready to play. I think Idaho just might present more of a challenge than a lot of people think.

I won't be able to watch this one since I'm in Ann Arbor with my wife to see Nebraska @ Michigan in the Big House. Football at Michigan is a whole different world. We were in the M Den today which is like a 2 story department store for Michigan apparel and it was packed with fans and students. Everywhere you go on the campus the students are wearing Michigan gear and there are lot of Nebraska fans in town also decked out in red. 110-115,000 are expected for the game.

    Go Ags!
