This team does not look prepared on any phase of the game.

Is dobbins hurt today?

Another thing I have noticed. We have new home uniforms but the away uniforms are the same. So they don’t match.

Not looking good if the qb can’t complete passes.

Run defense looks terrible once again

To be fair, QB 5 has missed some open receivers and has had a few bad passes.

Also it would have been cool for the team to do a uniform update post on social media. Every little bit of promo counts towards building the fanbase and the brand.

Cal just removed the tarps from their stadium.

If teams play competitive football vs brand name teams, fans will come to games.

I’m exited for this game. I learned that you get ESPN unlimited for free if you have YouTube TV. So no extra money to watch UC Davis games. Every win will get people more excited for UC Davis football. One game at a time.

But then again the main focus is getting right now $50mm for the stadium renovation, I know we are all in the dark on how that’s going. And then we’ll need more money for a 10-15k seat expansion.

The only way we can keep our good players is to 1. Move up to FBS. And 2. Have competitive NIL offers. UC Davis needs a NIL collective like the one Kevin Kennedy (who is an UC Davis Alumnus) runs at Cal. We have a lot of rich alumni, it’s just about getting people excited about football and getting them to donate.

It would be cool for the team to use these logos.

differences I noticed for the blue home jerseys
1. New Adidas Jersey Template
2. The gold in UC Davis word mark is no longer solid behind the “U” and the “A”. Now there is a space where blue shows in the “U” and “A”. (I am happy about this)
3. The numbers are now the same font as the word mark. (Matching looks good, but I would have liked the word mark to not be slanted but hey, it doesn't look bad.)
4. No more TV numbers. Those have now been replaced by a gold “CA” logo.
5. I did not see a “CA” logo on the back of the jersey. I’m going to assume it won’t be there anymore as it would be redundant to have it on the rear and both shoulders.

These updates look good.

I hope they use the “Davis” logo more on the blue and white helmets. Again, it would be very redundant to have the “CA” logo on the helmet, jersey shoulders, and pants. I did see the gold “Aggie Pride” logo on the white helmet.

I honestly was not impressed by how he read the defense last year. He threw a lot of interceptions the second half of the season. Looked like he was not reading the field well.

Ah ok ok. I’m just ready for any news on moves being made.
