    UNI over Illinois State late in game 24-10. UNI has lost their top 2 running backs to injury this game. Their run defense has been exceptional and the Illinois State QB has made some very bad throws.

    I’m most interested in Portland v Montana. PSU is 3-2 in conference but have played a weak schedule. Wins over Idaho, UNC and SUU and losses to ISU and NAU. Preseason had 2 FCS losses( Boise and close to Arkansas) and two D2 games. Montana will be a good barometer even without Sneed

    Unless Sac can score 3 defensive TDS this game is over. 2nd string QB looks completely lost. Montana’s 2nd string QB evidently hasn’t missed a beat.

    36-17 Weber beats Sac. Sac's QB, Thompson, did not play in the second half due to an injury.

    Even without Thomson they were even in yards. 2 INT by the backup hurt, but he got better with time. If Thomson is out, things get dicey for them but they should still beat NSU (gave up700 yards to EWU) and Idaho

    If he Thomson hadn't gotten injured this would have been a very close game. The Hornets certainly played Weber much tougher than we did even though the score doesn't show it.

    The QB injury could massively impact Sac's season.

    I thought our D and special teams played well against Weber. Josh Davis rambled, 177 yards rushing.

    looked like Montana hurt themselves in the first half. Two fumbles, one on a punt inside their 10 (psu turned into TD) and a missed short FG. They stopped PSU’s run game which will be a challenge (although we’ve done pretty well v the run lately). I think our passing game is better than Montana with their backup. Another tough game. Hopefully we’re much healthier after the bye

    Poly continues a third straight very disappointing year getting beat by Idaho. I guess what fans they have left chanted “pass the ball” at their last home game.
