Hope he throws it at some point, would love to make every single team for the rest of the season have to prepare for multiple possibilities out of that package
It's true that what he inherited is far from his vision, but the mountain to climb going forward is huge. It takes some results to really improve the recruiting.
That's true, but I guess I'd still expect them to run the ball and hold up on the line a little better. (And then not get torched on D). I think Baldwin will rebound, but this looks like a 2-3 year project
He did say that. I think there's a case for it because he played on the Aggies' biggest stage against the overall best competition and set D1 records while doing it. But it's really an apples to oranges comparison to stack him up against the D2 greats
I mean someone can't be D2 but it is a necessary qualifier to describe what was on the line and the opponents they faced. "Greats from the D2 era" would have been better wording.
I'm not sure how to factor in pro careers to be honest. "Great" could refer to just performance at Davis or it could more broadly describe how much attention the player brought to the program. Really shows how nebulous the term is
Raquet certainly looked better than Hamler, but he was mainly playing against reserves. Our depth offense continued to shred the Mustang defense. Dan might be right when he said this could be the best team top to bottom in Aggie history.
