one thing that most politicians, especially in California, are NOT shifting on is the idea that the demonstrations that occurred during the week just before that upturn had ZERO impact on the surge. If so, I see ZERO reason you couldn’t have several thousand sports fans well spread out at A’s, Giants or Aggie games. Masked, but spread out 6 feet or so.

That’s my one and only COVID opinion post

And California community colleges will start play in January, ending in April. Recruiting will be different. And no JC kids with early enrollment to attend spring ball

PAC12 follows. There goes that juicy Sac-Washington matchup with AARP spokesman Kevin Thomson as the Husky

true; I had found a really sweet deal at the silver legacy so booked it. I’m sure I can find another if things change. Last time I was there, Finn and I got the sports book to show the playoff selection show (after the causeway up there). That seems like a lifetime ago

Speaking of Reno.......just cancelled my hotel reservation. IF we do play, I expect very limited tickets to the visitors. I guess I could go and get a haircut!

I was just thinking about that. I saw a ‘what-if’ story about Reno and their 4 non conference games. They had two payouts, including us, and 2 paydays. Net loss was in the $950k range. That includes $350k payout to us. That’s probably half of what we’d lose if we had to cancel our three (I’m sure we pay USD something) but our amount is a bigger fraction of our revenue

we do because we play one or two FBS games. Not sure what the net would be without them

I believe our kids are back in Davis, getting ready for those types of workouts

Great day to be an Ag! This is really going to be something. Good to see the donor base expanding. April 2022 is not too far away

I renewed. Of course, not sure our seats will be the same if they make us spread our box out.

redshirt, medical redshirt, sat a year, and 4 seasons. I guess you don’t lose any eligibility when you move down.

IF the season were postponed, would he come back for year 8?
  • Sac’s Thomson to transfer?
Good luck to him. I have a hard time seeing him get through a pac 12 season healthy

I don’t know of any type of book. If you listened to the episode with Jenn Gross, you’ll hear the impact he had on her coaching career. I had forgotten she spoke at his memorial.

    I agree. Quite a life’s journey.
  • Sac’s Thomson to transfer?
    ↪69aggie
it does seem like he’s betting on no 2020 season and coming back in 2021. Unless he has a FBS school lined up already. Timing is so strange.

I get that. He must have something lined up if he’s entering this late. I would think his injury record would be a red flag to pro teams

She’s quite a coach and such a down to earth person. Her stories about Coach Sochor acting as her mentor are neat to hear.

Sticking close to home with Jen Gross. Lots of mutual respect.

they Arkansas trio was a disappointment. I thought it was a possible 3 win event, and we settled for an OT win. Got us started in a hole. Hope we get off and running out of the gate
