Amusing story from Saturday. I was sitting in the 200 section on the East end with an old football coach of mine. The entire women’s team sat near us ( nice team unity and show of support). Just to their right was a family of Beach supporters. Dad got mad at a foul call, gsvd the refs an earful and booed our shooters. Which , of course, inspired ghe women to get into the game! Poor guy was way outnumbered and outvocalized! Nice group of young ladies

I checked twitter also. In the fall I asked the Team physician about one of our players who had been out quite awhile. He said ‘ I can’t tell you anything out of privacy but check his social media, they tell the world everything ‘

I would guess we won’t hear about TJ’s MRI until Thursday. I’ve heard nothing. Hoping my gut reaction is wrong and we have the pleasure of watching more of him!

Bob Williams has nothing but praise for the grit of the Aggies, and admiration at the culture Les (and Hawkins!) has created. He sounded like he really enjoyed being part of the broadcast, and even mentioned attending football games this year. Still has his heart in Davis

Great night at the pavilion. I was worried when we missed the front end of 1-and-1 on back to back possessions. Knock down 3 of those and we would have put the pressure on them. I thought Silar played well, very aggressive on offense. He can’t buy a roll right now. He had 2 great drives that somehow rolled out. But he was smart with the ball, made some nice passes inside which created scoring opportunities. Goode came up HUGE with FT’s and that tip out at the end. Big night for Printup. Gutty win.

I fear we’ve seen the last of TJ from the look of that brace, the look on Blue’s face after the half, and Les’ comments post game. A shame. One of those plays where some bodies flew and happened to land on his exposed leg. I hope I’m wrong

I’ll be there Saturday. They have an EVO event pregame that I’m participating in, then ready to watch another win. Bought my ESPN tickets also. I’m hoping that will be worth the late long ride home!

Riverside beat UCSB last night so we are in a three team logjam (gauchos and Hawai’i) of 4-loss teams, right behind Fullerton with 3. We play Fullerton twice, Hawaii at home, so moving up into the top 3 is in our hands

i'd put my money on Turner; he had reach AND he, at times, looks like he's on the brink of a full-blown eruption! I've sat behind the UCI bench a few times, and he's pretty entertaining!

apparently, 'Bright Out' does mean where white/bright/neon. A more PC-version of 'White Out'.

box score says the attendence was 1700; not sure if that includes students or not. it would be nice to get a big crowd saturday, but i don't think the students will show up in full force with the 3-day weekend. its 'Bright Out Night ' which i'm guessing means free white tee-shirts?

TJ, AJ and Silar go 5-21 from the field and we win by 17! Solid shooting from 3, 10-11 from the line and good defense. 3 areas we struggled with in the non-conference. On a roll. Beat the Beach

i asked around last week at the signing party and its still up in the air. lots of ideas being pitched to the various parties involved (fire department, ICA, etc), and nothing definite yet.
