It also looks like most of the MAC has a FCS game on their schedule, so unless the NCAA grants FBS membership, like immediately, it doesn't seem like they would able to play those teams if they are still FCS. I must be missing something.

Good synopsis. I agree with the frustrating. There have been at least 3 losses that stick out (including Portland along with the 2 Big West), but 3 impressive wins (including Reno). The teams that really concern me heading into the 2nd half are Northridge and Poly -> they both seem to be hitting their stride. Poly looked like they would be fighting to stay in the tournament, and now they look like they are going to be a tough game every night. I can easily see CSUN in the top 4 by the end of the year.

What I like about Stokes is that he’s scrappy snd pisys bigger than his size. He gets rebounds and isn’t afraid to muscle up on defense. Hopefully this game gives him confidence in offense - he’s been so reluctant to take shots!

I get starting Stokes and Daugherty to send a message about defense…..but it’s out a damper on our offense.

I’m a big Stokes fan (he defends and rebounds) but he’s SO reluctant to shot. Niko is a bit off. We need a few 3’s to go down, and (I hope) we roll.

that last sentence summed up my thoughts - we had a chance to really go up big, but let them back in with weak inside defense. And to continue my harp, the potential 5 point swing in the last 29 seconds of the half really hurt. We were on a 8-0 run with the ball and 20 seconds left. Did the clear out and were left with a very difficult driving shot by Wilson - miss, snd they hit a mid court shot at the buzzer. We don’t do a great job with getting a shot on s last possession - that sequence gave them life. Of course, when you get outscored by 20+ in the second half, it’s probably moot…but…symbolic of not being able to put them away
