  • FCS Playoffs Round 1: Lamar (7-4) @ UNI (6-5)
I’ve only watched second half. Pretty simple offenses. Good size on both teams lines. I think both teams will have trouble prepping for our pass game. UNI rum game is oksy

Lamar is pretty aggressive with blitzes. I think Jake would tear that up
  • Week 13: FCS Playoffs - Round 1 Bye Week
USD has 30 points, 4 rushing yards!

Uh, maybe we’d like to see a UNI comeback?

I can think of games several years back vs UCLA or Cal where it looked like a scrimmage vs the JVS. Yesterday they belonged in the court

From The highlights, they certainly didn’t look outclassed. TJ is really quite a player
  • Week 13: FCS Playoffs - Round 1 Bye Week
I saw sun this morning, now rain. Forecast for late next week has bounced around a bit. I’ll wait until mid week to figure how to dress
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
John had a nice game, hopefully first of many. TJ was solid maybe wore down a bit down the stretch. GG had some good moments. I agree that Fuller is starting to play better. Gonsalez did some good stuff, and seemed to deal well with the pressure.

Something to build on. Not many easy wins out there in the preseason.

Thought someone had big ten network and watched
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
I’m not watching; has the officiating down the stretch been that bad?
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
Our turnovers in second half killed us.
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
14-0 run by Hoosiers. Struggling now
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
48-40 with 15 to go, playing well on both ends. Shorts come out limping. Hope that not an issue
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
    Ragged start to the half.

I was just about to type that. That got hot in the last 8 minutes or so. They are shooting over 50% from the field, over 60 from 3’s. Morgan has been unstoppable. Our best offense this year. Don’t think we can hold them down. Maybe a zone?
  • MBB 11/23: Aggies (1-5) at Indiana (4-1)
Hoosiers went on quite a run. Morgan harms something like 13 straight
  • MBB 11/20: Aggies (1-4) vs Sac State (1-0) at the Golden 1 Center
We really stagnated with a couple minutes to go up by a few. We were milking the clock but never got a good look. I would have liked to see TJ or Gonsaleshandling the ball more there -> Silar seems to get himself into bad spots and has to force a pass (turnover) or kick off for a rushed bad shot. Should have won that one.

I really like Gonsales. He plays hard, has a nice looking shot, defends and plays with confidence. Like to see him out there more. AJ is really struggling. If he gets hot, that could get this team going

AgAlum and I are meeting for dinner and drinks at punch bowl social then heading to the game.

we are 1.5 point favorites which seems about right. we're shuffling a bit, they have only played Simpson. I was encouraged by the defensive level last week, and we shot better from the floor on Sunday. FT's killed us (and the 17 or so turnovers didn't help). hopefully we put it together tonight.

first time at the Causeway b-ball game at the Golden 1. should be fun.
  • Bring back the Cow Bells for the Playoffs?

I’m reporting you to security! I don’t think I can take a cow bell in the row in front of me!
