back in the program's dark ages, we were at the football golf tournament when the coach turned it over to Q&A. our most influential alum/donor 'asked' : 'Hey Ron, it seems like every game their QB is better than ours. What do you plan to do about that?'

Its nice to be able to say our QB was the best one on the field every game this year (yes, including Montana State).

Nobody will put their name in until after the playoffs. Lan didn’t last year, but SOMEHOW schools were able to reach out with cash!

I figure the same to be true this year with at least one of our high profile returners. We’ll see if our collective can come up with some cash to help them make the decision to stay.

yesterday it was the public merchandise area.

smart players like Sevilla and DeBruhl really thrive in this program. If you told me last year that Conner would be playing 33 minutes and score 11 points vs the Gauchos, I think i would have doubted you. He's grown QUICKLY into very solid contributor to this team. If we can get consistency from Daugherty and Chappell, we might be finishing higher than I had thought.

Have to be encouraged by having only 11 turnovers last night.

Still undecided about making the trip. I have an old teammate who is talking about coming out from Virginia; its just not the most convenient location to get to from SFO or Oakland! And not cheap!

i was just about to do this! thanks. The outliers are Mercer and UIW; everybody else seems to be well below their normal regular season attendence.

considering the basketball crowd was above normal, i wonder if a later start time would have brought out more students (once they finished studying all day for finals)? or, was that a product of a sweet give-away (beanies) and free tickets for football fans?

MSU had 17000. Even the Dakota’s who have years of success didn’t have tremendous attendance.

Saturday at 2:00 our time in ESPN+. Other games are on ESPN or ABC (NDSU v Mercer)

the Pavillion video board froze in the first half on Thursday, also.

The crowd felt bigger than 6500. West side was mostly full, the concourse was packed, the grass had a decent crowd and student turnout was similar to most games. Unfortunately, the team has to stare at the 3 empty sections in the NE corner.

I was surprised a large number of season tickets holders didn’t show. In their ‘defense’, we haven’t had a home game in December in 6 years so they make other plans.

I’m not sure ranting about people not showing up really helps. I don’t think the average person seeing that will be driven to show up next December. And to the people who were there, it’s like being lectured by the minister the Sunday after Easter about the people who DIDN’T show up.

The NCAA production really sucks the personality out of the game. No on-field contests with Darius, no dance troupe, generic scoreboard graphics, no student section contests with Darius, no Davis-related announcements/presentations during the long timeouts- they didn’t even let Darius on the mic for the kid’s halftime run!

The camera work was much better than normal.

I think I will, regrettably, missing this one. I’m heading up around 9:30 this morning for football….not sure I can convince my wife to stick around to around 7:00 for basketball.

If they can figure out how to get a victory today, that would be quite an upset, even though Gauchos are only 2.5 favorites

that a custom model! AgAlum sent me a high quality cowbell vid Amazon and my wife meticulously painted it Aggie Blue. I picked up the sticker when I was up for basketball on Thursday. Much louder than the little bookstore ones! Thermonuclear powered!
