oddly, USD has grass as we’ll see in September! Hopefully at night this year - the past couple 1:00 kickoffs were brutal.

quite a few big programs especially in the south. The new San Diego state stadium apparently has grass as uses USD. I suspect it’s a matter of maintaining it.

If you take out the Thursday night loss at Hawaii, we are 1-3 on Thursday in SoCal, 2-1 on Saturday. Hopefully, next week we can break the Thursday night skid when we take on the Beach who should be out of the playoff picture.

I never said it sounded lucrative -> that was SocherField's sarcastic reply!

I don't have interest in reading the report (which seems to be in dispute), but that seems like a very big number! Out of town fans flooding the hotels to watch Akron? Local TV/radio contracts skyrocketing? Just seems like a bit of a stretch, but, what do i know.

I just don’t know what ‘economic impact’ means.

interesting that both Reno and San Jose reduced capacity after renovating. Reno hasn’t been getting close to filling that for awhile.

we’ve been playing at night in September for several years. Even then, thst setting sun at 6:45 can be tough on the east bleachers. Same big it’s a warm 4:00 October kickoff

I can’t find anything too recent on Les but there was a 2023 list showing $350k (plus annual retention bonus of $50k). That’s about $700k LESS than the average of MWC coaches according to recent Reno Newspaoer article.

Odin went from about $250k at UCSD to $1.2M at New Mexico!

Another Thursday road loss snd Saturday victory. I know the game feature different opponents (like a Thursday in Hawaii) but this trend seems telling. Seems like a competitive disadvantage for us to have 5 games like that while others have to only deal with a single trip yo NorCal. Gonna be worse next year unless we take longer road trips (leave day before).

I’m pretty sure it was injury. He got 5 minutes in the first half. Never took off his warmup in the second. There were a couple times on the first he was walking gingerly. Not sure how he was able to get 26 the other night!

Cooper REALLY looked dejected on the bench; i fear we won't see him back for a bit. That fall that Stokes told was scary, especially the reaction of the players on the court. Not sure when he will be back. He's really coming on late in the season, especially on offense. Thankfully, Daugherty was back, or our depth would be have been nothing.

IF we can get everyone healthy for the tournament, we're capable of winning a few games.

the couple times they panned the team side, it looks less empty than the side shown throughout the game. But, yeah, it was sparse!

they don’t record them - they are geared to football alumni, since Plough pulls back the curtain and expects certain things not to go public.
