we started with same week last year, with Thursday falling in the 2nd. With the number of teams and trips to Hawaii to work in, it seems like they have to ‘start’ now to get games in before the tournament. Thankfully they scheduled the first week back in early December or we’d have games in late December snd first week of the new year.

We seem to be 4-5 point favorites with 67% probability for a win. They swept us last year.

I was starting to write my NCAA petition to try to get my year eligibility from Freshman football. I figure the poor NCAA officials need a laugh from the idea of 50-70 old years arguing that Frosh football deprived us of NIL earnings!

There is a suit just filed that will not count JC years against eligibility. Vanderbilt QB Diego Pavis is one of the names attached -> he is trying for a SEVENTH year of eligibility! Tennessee QB Joey Aguilar out of Brentwood/Antioch is also one of the plaintiffs. They are arguing that 'NCAA’s rules “unjustifiably” restrain athletes’ abilities to earn money under name, image and likeness rules.' I believe the gist of the Connors suit is along those lines.

Sloppy game. Played with intensity in defense, especially in first half, but couldn’t hit open outside shots. Almost had issues getting good shots against their zone. It’s hard to focus when you know you should win by 50….even Les was subdued!

I had forgotten about him. He’s starting at LSU and averaging 7/7 a game. I didn’t expect him to play like that at that level.

I was just checking the roster for the Pioneers. Kind of an interesting mix. 7 kids from CA, a couple for TN, a couple from AZ, one from Austrialia (va Orange Coast College) and an mixture of other states. A couple don't have a hometown listed, which makes me remember my wasted youth watching professional wrestling on Channel 40 with the masked wrestlers hailing from 'Parts Unknown'.

Yesterday, he were getting beat inside by guys without a ton of size - just physically willed their way to the hoop. I think that’s why we were so successful in the paint offensively - they didn’t have run protectors like we’ve seen from teams like Oregon and Colorado (even Seattle)
