Unfortunately they did leave with Ellerson. One year the defense under Ellerson had 50 sacks (Gocong had 23.5) and 25 INTs. We now don’t get to double digits in sacks or INTs

EWU’s defense is not great, but Cal Poly’s offense is not bad. Cal Poly’s defense on the other hand is next to non existent. EWU scored 42 points in 16:33 minutes of possession.

Cal Poly down 42-41 misses a 35 yard FG against EWU with 1 minute left. Lose 42-41. Cal Poly’s season in one play.

Weber State, Montana State and Sac State would all be quality wins. I think by the end of the year we may find that Sac State might be the toughest. They always have had good athletes. The difference this season is they now have good coaching to get the most out of those athletes.

Eaton’s play was a dagger. Had he not got the defensive TD and we kick a FG or score a TD it is a one score game and I like our chances because all the momentum would have been on our side.

I knew we were not going to be able to stop your offense, but I thought we would move the ball and score on your D. I figure we would eat the clock and keep our D on the sidelines more.

As a Poly fan this is embarrassing.

Sorry, I thought we would make this at least a game. Looks like it is going to be a LONG day for the Mustangs.

He had an ankle sprain at the start of the season, but was suited up last Saturday. He did not get any snaps, but I think he made the trip this weekend. Looking forward to seeing him the ball for the Mustangs.

Has anyone here notice that every time the Aggies move up in the rankings the Aggie’s football Twitter page is updated the same day with the new ranking? Now that the Aggies have been slipping in the polls the last two weeks it has not been updated and still says #4. Probably to busy preparing for today’s game to worry about it. ;)

The way Davis played Cal and NDSU plus how you did last season are the reasons you are still ranked. Also your loses are all to good teams.

I have no doubt the Aggies will move the ball and score. What will determine if the Aggies can make a game of it will be how your D holds up against NDSU’s running game. Yes NDSU has the brawn up front, but they also have speed and power in their skilled positions. If they get their running game going it could be a long day. If the Aggies can contain it you have a great chance.
