Cal Poly up 10-3 on Weber 6:24 left in the 2nd. Hamler long TD run (around 40 yards).

Weber State held San Diego State to 6 points. They are stout.

Cal Poly’s first team O was in for 8 drives before they started subbing. They scored 7 TDs and 1 FG and did not punt. Looked good.

San Diego fumbles out of the end zone with 2 seconds left. Close call. Aggie wins.

San Diego should have clock it and save their timeout.

New rule on no wedge blocking on kicks brings back a big return for San Diego.

Preece is a stud.

I am feeling better about Cal Poly. I know how good the Aggies are so I think San Diego is better than I thought. I really like Cal Poly’s offense this year. Unfortunately our D is still a liability.

I expect Davis will pull away in the 2nd half.

Seating capacity of USD stadium is 6,000.

I think the Aggies roll.

Go to Big Sky TV and then hit previous and click on the Cal Poly/USD game. Watching it right now. The sound will come on about the 7:30 mark of the first quarter.

Our Rfr QB looked good in his first start. 8-11 passing for 221 yards and 3 TDs. He also ran 17 times for 96 yards and 2 TDs.

Weber State defense looked stout against SDSU holding them to 6 points. We will see how he looks next week on the road against one of the top defenses in the FCS.

The USD @ Cal Poly game is not televised, but will be video streamed on Big Sky TV.

I am surprised TE Wes Preece is not on there. I would bet he will be at the end of the season.

His PR in the 100 meters is 10.6. He ran that as a junior in high school. He is most definitely fast. Nice get for the Aggies.

Programs that had large signing classes will rank higher. Also it only included high school players. Cal Poly had a small class of 15 players and of those 5 were Juco transfers and 1 was a FBS transfer so Hero Sports only counted 9 players for a team like Cal Poly.

Unfortunately FBS teams only offer full scholarships and the PAC 12 schools offer full cost of attendance which mean they give checks to athletes.
