Agreed. I don't get the guys w just one season (Cleeland, Brant), did they transfer or change positions? Xzavior Guess is still in the mix, and don't forget JM came as a one-year JC recruit. Eason was injured his senior year, but only 4 career TD passes in 3 years?

Interesting how our top QBs had a HS QB Rating in the 120s.

    Added Wrighster.

How many solid QBs start w so little experience? Tough position to master even w years at the position.

Axel Eason only threw 125 passes over three years at Oaks Christian High School for a total of 1,005 yards. Not a thick resume.

Yep, and we skipped a rebuilding year with CP, the Connors and Pysk.

Good points. Develop QB #2, and the reality is that QB #1 will have 25% to 40% lower stats, possibly making them less attractive to being poached. Win win. Up two scores, #2 plays. Blowout, #3?

Are QBs getting multi-year, guaranteed deals? I knew CP would max out here next year.

Even with all the injuries, if we had Jacob Pysk, I think we had a legitimate shot of making the national championship.

When I saw Plough's recent posts, I knew something was coming.

A lot of inner city and poor kids were used as athletes, spent 3-4-5 years studying often worthless topics, not graduating, taking Mickey Mouse classes, and gaining no skills. I guess it's better than drugs or joining a gang.

Very sad. I wonder how San Francisco dropped its homicide rates so substantially... the veteran prosecutors they inherited from Oakland help?

How realistic is $260 million in facilities upgrades, NIL, and we still minimally market to our 40,000 non-commuter students?

We already have loads of applicants and fundraising 100x what was done in 1980.

Add the tower, make upgrades where feasible, but let college big-time football shake out. Really, are you ready to pay a HC $10 million, then $20 million, a QB millions, and add more debt? All to play Wyoming or Fresno State in football?

Here's another one to consider. AI: " "The Man Who Knew" is a significant 2002 PBS Frontline documentary focusing on FBI counterterrorism agent John P. O'Neill, who relentlessly warned about Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden but was often ignored, and tragically died at the World Trade Center on 9/11, having later become its security director."

I'm with you. We're a yearly contender, still feature true student athletes, and the FCS playoffs seem exciting. Ivys, Villanova, the Redbirds... and yes, we can provide more resources at the FCS level.

The FBS is all over the place, constant turnover, $$$, drama, HCs with $20-million, $30-million contracts. ICA departments massively in the hole (like Cal). We can add spice in our pre-season games. Who knows what happens in 3-5 years. Cross country travel already an issue for some.
