We had first time QB starters for 2 of our last big Pac 12 games. Maybe a seasoned JC starter would fare a little better, esp w a less predictable offense. I loved the FBS game where we used an effective pass control in the first half, and then went ball control in the second.

How about cut 8 or 10 teams. Trim the FB and BB budgets. Anything you do, that's a massive number.

They could hire a succession of lowly paid coaches for FB and BB to give them a shot, and if they win they move on. Problem is if they lose, revenues plummet.

Thanks. So we must have played them 3 in a row, as we lost a close one with them in 84 in Fargo. They seemed huge and deep. We had a solid front line, but had an undersized (but smart) Center and not so sure about the 2s. Rockwell and Gazanniga were huge.
