I bet it comes into play most often for the opening game if there has been a coaching change, and there is no current film. I know back in the day when we exchanged film, we knew exactly what was on, and not on, film.

Don't forget the Bears academics ended up in the toilet...and their 'jock majors' like recreation management.

    Really?

Curious, is scouting opponents practices common, or considered unethical?

    Two open jobs.

Huh? I believe we have checked all of the diversity boxes , if that is what you are after, with not much to show for it the past 10 years. I Don't really focus on such issues, just get results in an ethical way. TT and ST were here for a short time, and not sure what TG accomplished beyond a steady hand. For the record, I believe we had such a "diversity" figure subvert our academic process and redecorate her office with fancy furniture (not ST or TG), so what good did that do?

I don't care if Hawk is X,y or z and Blue is "diverse" being young and Canadian.

    Big issues.

    1. QB

    2. Injuries

I did see we are advertising for an Assoc. AD for Athletic Performance. New addition?

Foster was a key part of our success, and I just read UW articles that said CP was actually closer to Foster. FYI.

Question. Since we ran the Flex and later the 54, how did our scout team operate? Did they just run generic 3 or 4 man fronts?
  • MBB: Aggies (6-7) @ Seattle (7-6)
Was that the fancy by college standards restaurant in the lower level, near First Street?

I know Ham wasn't happy with the cavernous feel of Rec Hall. I didn't see any games his final year but hear he put together a great season with a bunch of rookies.
  • MBB: Aggies (6-7) @ Seattle (7-6)
Ham knew everyone. Did he call everyone "babe"? ... He got coffee in the Coffeehouse all the time.

I only got to see Ham at Rec Hall, I bet Hickey was amazing...esp with the Band. When I traveled to away games, fans always asked, "Is your band here?"

Sweet! One of our best teams ever?

We need to get some alums to comment on this article. Very good article, no mention of Foster and Arp.

Did Gould not continue the helmet rule?

We're'nt we middle of the pack with Biggs and a much smaller budget?

Edit: I agree OA, cautiously optimistic.

New facilities also in the pipeline, brother.

I'm not worried. Contrast this with Tumey's glacial pace. The most important thing is to land the right people. Given Hawk's history with Coach Speckman, I wouldn'tt doubt he evaluated and strategized needs with him and options. I know Coach Wulff favorited a tweet of Hawk's after he joined us.

Our staff's experience has taken a quantum leap.

Did I miss something? Hiring seemed fairly prompt, esp. since Dr. Blue moved quickly to land Hawk. You should read the grumbling on other sites with their envy at our quick action. Gould's staff appeared to do an excellent job with early, solid commits.

McCann seemed to do a solid job, but who broke out besides Doss? Harrell shows promise, and better strategy will help.

We could have won 5 games this year without miracles, I hope Hawk and Co can get there this year.

Merry Christmas to our new and departed coaches, and to all of our Aggie family and friends. Happy Holidays. And ... Go Ags!

oldschool, you have to be happy with the quantum leap in experience level of our top coaches...

Lots to be excited about, it seems very strategic. Tucker had huge success and should have the Jucos wired in SoCial. Plough gained more experience and confidence, and he will get to collaborate with Speckman. Foster and Young add their grit. Huge. ... I saw Wulff favorite a tweet of Hawks so thought he may be in the running, but Plough put up some big numbers... I'm assuming that is not just sheer talent. HUGE!?

P.S. Dr. Blue some would consider being in California a 'structural advantage' for our program.

    Go Ags!
