I didn't watch all the games and every minute, but when I saw that dart I was like "what"? I believe I rewound it and to see the distance. I posted my feedback real time ... what game was it?

I've seen 15, 20 yards throws like that, but 40 was very impressive, and it was precise.

6'2", 230#s, 36 tackles, JM approach.

My quick review of this HS film seems to show:

- he moves well around the pocket
- may be our biggest QB ever at 230-235#s
- he puts touch on the ball, can throw against his body, and on the move
- can run off tackle for 10 - 20 yards, picking his spots, not afraid of contact
- better runner than JM and HR
- I didn't see a CP-like throw of a 40-yard dart into the back of the endzone, not saying he can't

His numbers dropped quite a bit his senior year. His father is a personal trainer, he played 3 sports and won the section title throwing the shot. Originally committed to UW before a coaching change. Solid pickup.

Teddye Buchanan's numbers improved but weren't eye dropping, and he quickly became a starting LB for the Ravens. As "a fourth-round pick, leading the team in tackles and showing great instincts in both run support and pass coverage". (93 tackles in 14 games)

Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 and Anquan Boldin 4.75.

Sac State has an official 6th game at Fresno State ( 9 / 12).

Great length at 6'3", says he's a spring grad w 3 years eligibility.

Is Rex ready for the NFL combine now if his waiver is denied?

My guess is he wants a full year stats and 100% recuperation.

No guarantee Pinnick will stay at WSU in this new era especially if he lights up some big boys.

Thirty years ago a colleague told me they hired from Chico State when they needed people skills, and Davis when they needed engineers. The Chico grads often landed interesting customer-facing jobs. A super bright, personable ME friend (Aggie) torched an introductory test entering the Navy's nuclear school, while a Cal grad struggled. (The questions were posed on a blackboard in front of a small group.)

One highly touted Gould recruit from Arizona that AZ HS coaches were saying had "NFL future" left after two years. Then there was Ryan Parenteau who was hot, then he dropped off most college teams radar for some unknown odd reason. I'm no expert, but saw his tape and went "Wow", and commented about him here. Covered well, hit like a truck, we inked him. He became almost an immediate impact player.
