  • Plough's name coming up as a possibility for Oregon State

I was committed to Oregon state before getting into Davis off the waitlist. Really cool town, love the brick everywhere, but the weather man….

Oregon state is going the wrong direction in every way. Other than baseball I feel like they are going back to what small relevence they had nationally before Smith became the coach. While it’s a bigger job, I agree they unless they give him a boatload of money it’s not like OSU is in some crazy better position. I’d be curious though to know if Plough knows or has been given a game plan for Davis realignment. Id imagine it would be much harder to pull him from raising his kids at his Alma mater if Davis moving to a higher level of football is in the future. The new PAC12 is better than the MW but the difference between UC Davis in the MW and Oregon State being mediocre in the new Pac12 doesn’t seem worth it.

You beat me to it. Was going to post about it this. I’d see Vigen going there before Plough.

so agree, especially in a town that is so easily bikeable. I see the community biking to school in droves every morning, could easily bike to the game. Actually would be nice to have a little more bike parking now that I think about it..

this is a tough one. Maybe Harvard? But also we’ve had a look at Mercer (although they changed qbs)

Another basically (-like 70 tickets) 10,000 person crowd. Really awesome considering this week is the first week of midterms for most kids. Seeing freshman show up before they take the first “big” test of their college life is pretty nice to see.

wa griz is my bucket list stadium in the big sky, but I don’t know if I’d find a game as luckily nice as the weather seemed yesterday

I can’t get the video to upload… BUT they lit the water tower in gold and blue after the win! I have to note that sac state fans have been asking for a “light the beam” at hornet stadium and I guess Davis decided to put their own spin on itiikgvfs33es9zgm0.png

another thing that might help is turning up the microphone in these press conferences  . All jokes aside I agree with you completely, hoping the NAU game can get a good crowd!

same, I was really confused looking at live stats with how many people were out.

Idaho State has been so confusing because I watch the games and you would think they would be one of the best in the big sky and somehow lose by a touchdown or random field goal every game

Attendance has been fantastic so far this year. The freshman on campus seem much more interested in athletics than they were when I was a freshman (I’m graduating this quarter). Looking forward to seeing how brewfest goes, the pre-game stuff has been really cool recently. I’m not in a frat but the frat tailgate was pretty well done on the practice field last week.
