YEs. I I have never understood why you don’t blast the kickoff deep into the end zone. Maybe our kicker doesn’t have the leg.

He doesn’t have the players yet … if ever. TCU had numerous studs as tight ends and receivers that made the difference.

Bennett makes some bad decisions and seems to be somewhat of a head case at times that partially, at least, negates his upside. Sac’s defensive backfield seemed to be their weak spot in this game.

Western Carolina retakes the lead 20-17 with 4 minutes to go in 3rd quarter. Would be huge upset - much bigger than Montana State’s

…. and again. Don’t think it will hold but it shows that a cool and experienced QB is a big factor.

Western Carolina (future opponent of Montana) plays NC State tonight with temp at kickoff in upper 80s and dewpoint of 72 (ugly). Western just missed the playoffs last year and supposedly has a very good qb. State will most likely handle them quite easily but I will check it out on TV (ACC network).

Agreed ….. just noting the bias toward the Stanford win early in the season.
