Idaho scored the first 17 points then did not score after 7 minutes to go in first half. Probably a bit disappointed after being up 17-0 then getting shut out. Idaho will be a tough out on the big sky. Ifanse (former Montana State back) ran for a bunch of yards for Cal.

Well after watching the first half of the Stanford -USC game I had recorded,I don’t feel quite as bad about the first half of the Oregon State game. 52-3 as I recall. Ouch!

Conners is fun to watch. He has a natural nose for the ball and is an excellent tackler. His and Larison’s efforts stood out. Although clearly overmatched, there didn’t seem to be a lot of fire in many of the other players. I think expectations were that it would be more competitive. Depending on how they use the experience - it could be good or bad - like most things in life.

Montana State led most of the game - they had to settle for a field goal after a first and goal from the 1 - to go ahead by 3 then SDSU scored.

Every time they go away from Larison - it is disaster
