    Some ESPN idiot used San Diego State defense footage instead of South Dakota State footage during halftime in previewing tomorrows playoff game. I guess just punch in SDSU and don’t think. ESPN coverage of FCS is pathetic.

    not sure why he’d want to go to Texas State. They have been crappy the past several years and not exactly a high profile school.

    This was the old SW Texas State that the Aggies play in the D2 championship game in 83.

    Sac loses 66-63. What a wild game.

    Well I thought Sac State had a pretty good defense until this game. What I noticed was that the D line was absolutely gassed at the end and you know there was absolutely no way Sac was going to stop Lindsey Scott and IW. Sac did not seem to rotate in fresh players much but some of that may be due to tempo and IW not substituting to allow for a rotation. What I noticed about the Aggies this year was how many players they rotated in on defense and I did not sense they ever really wore down much in games. Maybe Montana State somewhat but those were mostly 1 play big plays.

    Turnovers were the difference. O Hara is a bit of a two edge sword at times. Makes great plays but also tries to make something out of nothing which is what happened on his last fumble. There were several other times he was lucky he didn’t get a turnover. Usually defense wins the big games - but obviously not on this one.

    I pulled an ESPN announcer gaff calling Dunniway Donuhue earlier.

    Sac State in trouble. Incarnate word scores after an o Hara turnover. Donahue injured. O Hara too 1 dimensional for full time duty and floats his passes. Two turnovers for Sac in first half.

    Tiffany Green, ESPN announcer in tonight’s NDSU - Samford game, said that last week NDSU dominated Montana STATE. Really? Shows you that announcers are clueless when calling these FCS games.

    went to several games back in the early 90s when I was in grad school there. Big time football and fan base there. Pretty much everyone at the stadium or watching on TV. PA announcer starts with “it’s football time in Tennessee”. Then band strikes up Rocky Top and all sing along (at least the chorus). For those who haven’t seen a game they’re definitely a bucket list place.

    What about all the noise Jackson made about his mission to return the HBCU teams to former greatness. All the recruits he sold on that plan. Now he leaves all those 4 and 5 star recruits on their own while he moves to the DI stage he talked them out of. Seems a little hypocritical.

    Well I guess in coach ' speak “I’m leaving”. Not sure I like his style a bit rehearsed in Baptist preacher mode and hard to tell what is sincere. I am sure he will improve the program, but it’s going to be a while if ever to crack into the top 3 of PAC-n although will be easier with the LA schools leaving.

    Richmond’s QB could not throw a wet ball. Nothing but Joe Kapp floaters. Both Dunniway and O’Hara could at least get some spin on the ball. That was the difference in second half. Feel a bit bad for Richmond - they really shut down Sacs running game.

    Now that Taylor has the playoff loss thing off his back - maybe he’ll move on up to FBS.
