• Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
Well a field goal better than nothing. Seemed like Poerio pulled up on the pass to him rather than continuing his drag.
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
Scott Marsh just said last year was the first time UCD beat Weber in Ogden. Not true.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
Fly on the wall in Montana locker room at halftime to hear Bobby Hauck ………. Priceless.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
No wonder Hawk always offers a scholarship to a good long snapper!
Yes. Unnoticed details on special teams can make or break things.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
Robby Hauck gets an unsportsmanship penalty. The acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree.
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
we’ll stomp them in the mud their green will turn to blood in our hour of victory.

Oh well, doesn’t have the same ring with artificial turf.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
Weber State memorial snap by Montana into end zone for a Montana State touchdown.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
Chambers comes in with Mellot and Montana doesn’t have an answer to stop either. 14-7 Montana State.
  • Week 12 Big Sky Scores.
Hauck is just a jerk. His press conferences are an embarrassment to the university.

Montana just scored to make 7-7
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
I think they have good linebackers. They have that Texas transfer - I think no. 46 or 47. He has a reputation for spearing and has had 2 targeting penalties. Montana fans hate him due to the targeting on their QB Johnson. The Aggie offense has really been clicking and I think the multitude of offensive options will be another key today.
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
Aggie wide receivers did a great job blocking last week (noted by Jason Eck). The tunnel screens went for some big yards because of that. I think an important key to today’s game for the Ags is to again be physical and win the trenches.
  • College Game Day to Bozeman
They showed a clip of Trent Tompkins doing his MJ move in the opening video/music montage on college game day.

You’d think Hawk would pitch in. After all I am sure he comes to this site for strategy and insight :-)

    in and thanks for administrating.
  • Dan Whelan Selected By The DC Defenders (XFL)
better than cal state davis that I saw posted in locker room she
We played baseball against SJ State at the single A park there. Weird field, astroturf infield and natural turf outfield at the time. I hear Cal - Berkeley quite a bit. I don’t care what folks call us this weekend as long as we beat Sac State (Sac State High in Aggie Band-uh alma mater). I suppose the “new” administratively approved band wouldn’t know about that.
  • Week 12: UC Davis (6-4) at Sac State (10-0)
I’ll take it if it results in anything like the Idaho game with similar prediction. I thin the line is something like Aggies +7. I think South Dakota State folks (and to some extent Montana State folks) have more confidence than we do. Of course they both would like to see a UCD victory.
  • College Game Day to Bozeman
It absolutely will be a sellout. Heard SRO “seats” going for $200. Although I will say that folks started leaving the UCD game at half when it was still close. It was a wet cold night then but not nearly as cold as it will be on Saturday - but unless it is a blowout, it will be packed all game.

And to your other point - better to have both schools in same conference and division as you note. I don’t think there is a more talked about rivalry in all of FCS.
  • Shootings at University of Idaho and UVA
Sad that people want to resolve conflict by killing. Earthly lives ended for the victims and essentially life ended for the perpetrator.
  • FCS Polls After Week 11
agreed. That’s why it is good to start ranked high. You have to work your way out of the top 25. Also I have heard regarding the coaches poll that the coaches don’t vote- it may be the SID or Athletic Directors. And then probably using a ouija board (wait - that would take too much time).

Montana is almost always over-ranked. Part of it is name legacy, probably somewhat due to following/attendance “program” history. If they lose to Montana State (I think they will) they will have 4 league losses, no quality wins - as you noted a crap schedule. No way they should be considered in that eventuality. I think they schedule weak teams on purpose - no need to chase the money with an FBS game. They always seem to have more home than away games - and Missoula provides a definite home field advantage with a packed stadium and fans so close to the field. Man was it sweet to trounce them in 2018.
