Was at my grandsons game so tuned in late. 39% on the FGs. 27% vs 57% on 3s. 75% on FTs, so that figure is improving.

SMF has one of the highest bird strikes in the nation. Just drive south on I5 this time of year and you can see the “clouds” of waterfowl as you go over the causeway.

They were giving away reconditioned bikes which was popular. But with classes up and going, that will help.

Finn, i don’t know about marketing on campus, but they're doing Tshirt give aways, double double give aways for an entire row, and the typical aggie swag give aways at time outs. The new quarter has started so that should help with the student numbers and getting the band-uh back in attendance.

It looked sparse close to game time but filled in a little later. My guess is less than a thousand

Let’s hope he’s good at utilizing talent in the right place. I haven’t really followed his career so don’t know what to expect

I was expecting the Bison to come out swinging in the second half. 38-14 jacks 5 left in the third quarter.

Crazy that Pepper only had 2 points. FTs were much improved, but FGs struggled. Credit a pesky Bakersfield defense. Good win for the Ags, we needed it.

That 7’ #15 really hurt us. We were trying to keep him out of the paint and the dude was knocking down his FGs. They had a couple other guys that were 6’11”. We just don’t have the size to effectively challenge that. Talking about size, Borra got some minutes but I just don’t think he is at his best yet. I still think this team is going to erupt. Bakersfield hopefully will be a confidence builder.

What happened to our “dominant” lady Aggies?

BTW I thought Borra did not look confident with his dribbling. Maybe still some lingering issues with the wrist.

It seemed like the TOs and FT misses were hurting us but while the stats seem to favor Irvine we’re not far off.

We’ll get even with them in February, hopefully.

That #3 killed us. We needed to keep him away from the FT line down the stretch and just couldn’t. He’s a hella of a good shooter.

Hawaii’s D is the difference. They’re very physical and tenacious.
