This week at practice, Porter was taking first-string reps at quarterback, working to learn how to throw different route patterns.

“It's unfortunate they don’t have much of a rep base,” Souers said after practice Wednesday. “It’s very difficult to get overly complex or implement any new stuff, so we’re trying to run what we run and run it well.”

“They got the best thrower right now in the country and he’s lighting it up every week,” Souers said. “He’s a guy, again, if you let receivers run loose he’s going to find them and he’ll exploit that. We need to do a great job of technique, we need to do a great job and keep competing because they are going to get yards.”

That should work in our favor.

The Idaho state -psu game has the potential to be interesting. I was at the psu game last week. They are improved and playing inspired football. While i totally expect an Idaho state win, don’t be surprised if psu is competitive in this one.

I emailed our athletic ticketing guy and he didnt know either. I called EW to get the info. The visitor sections are sections P and Q. At the moment, there are quite a few tickets available. $28/ea.
