His accuracy and touch on the ball has significantly improved. He faults when he has to make quick decisions, but who doesnt? EW has many weapons and is going to burn you with one or the other. Got to give UNI a lot of credit. They were resiliant on defense and played Maier tougher then any other team. Yet Jake did enough to get the job done. Moving forward, to compete with teams like that, we need the kind of physical play (size?) on the line that UNI has. While we had our moments getting after their QB, most of the time he had plenty of time. Had Jake had that kind of time, he would have shred them.

Wow, what a really fun day of Aggie football. Great tailgate with Finn and his dad/uncle, Dr. Mike and some former players, 05 and son, Sochorfield and son, and a visit by Mike Bellotti!

UNI was tough and just wouldnt go away, especially when they are gifted 3 extra points they didnt earn. Ive never seen that before and was not aware of the fact that FGs are not reviewable. Give the game ball to the defense.

The student tailgate area didnt get the turnout i was expecting. Athletics went all out to provide a fun gameday experience for them. But ultimately, the pack did show up and it looked like the students had a blast. Their timing on when to make noise seemed improved.

Tough road game up next. I’m not making that trip. The Ags have it in them to pull off an upset, but regardless of the outcome, we are 10-2 and playing in the quarter finals of the playoffs. Let that sink in!

I went to the last EW game. SW has two non stop flights. Otherwise you are going all over the west before you get there. Yes, fly into Spokane. I have Hettz gold and got a dynamite rate from them. Cheney is 20-30 minutes fron Spokane depending on weather. But stay in Spokane. The visitor bleachers totally suck and it is freezing cold. The mens room is heated, so even the locals crowded in there at half to get warm, lol.
