I was expecting the Bison to come out swinging in the second half. 38-14 jacks 5 left in the third quarter.

Crazy that Pepper only had 2 points. FTs were much improved, but FGs struggled. Credit a pesky Bakersfield defense. Good win for the Ags, we needed it.

That 7’ #15 really hurt us. We were trying to keep him out of the paint and the dude was knocking down his FGs. They had a couple other guys that were 6’11”. We just don’t have the size to effectively challenge that. Talking about size, Borra got some minutes but I just don’t think he is at his best yet. I still think this team is going to erupt. Bakersfield hopefully will be a confidence builder.

What happened to our “dominant” lady Aggies?

BTW I thought Borra did not look confident with his dribbling. Maybe still some lingering issues with the wrist.

It seemed like the TOs and FT misses were hurting us but while the stats seem to favor Irvine we’re not far off.

We’ll get even with them in February, hopefully.

That #3 killed us. We needed to keep him away from the FT line down the stretch and just couldn’t. He’s a hella of a good shooter.

Hawaii’s D is the difference. They’re very physical and tenacious.

Have fun at the game. My wife and i had this one circled on the calendar as a possible hawaii visit for new years. But we were just there for a wedding, so we’ll be watching from home.

Fisher looks like he’s going to be a great addition. At 5’8” and 170 hopefully his success in HS will translate to collegiate athletics.

Nick Afato is an impressive looking recruit. Watching some of his tapes reminds me of Nick Eaton.

Jackrabbits won’t be denied, 28-6 with a couple left in the half. Gotta like them over the Bison. The Jacks can run and throw. Bison are too one dimensional against a team that can match up with them in the trenches.

And Bison win it 35-32. It turns out that lousy call by the refs cost IW the game.

And IW just got ripped off on a Bison fumble recovered by IW. Insane.
