It did wind up in a four way tie, but for the 4 seed! We know that either UCSD or UCSB will finish 11-9 and it's likely that Fullerton will lose to CSUN. If we upset the Anteaters, the way I figure it, we need to root for the Gauchos, because if they beat UCSD, the Ags win the tie-breaker unless Fullerton wins, then I don't have the mental capacity to figure that one out. If we lose to UCI, the best we can do is the 5 seed.

Marcus Wilson had a great game and he's been the MVP of the latter part of the season. My one concern about him is that he still tends to force the ball into penetration and lose it or get it blocked. He needs to watch film of T Y Johnson.

CSUN won, but UCSD lost, so the 4 seed is still in reach. "All" we have to do is beat Irvine on Saturday.

We won this one at the foul line, a 10 point advantage for the Ags and despite 5 for 22 from 3. A win is a win. Very poorly officiated game, though.

We're definitely lucky to be down only 3. D giving up too many points in the paint on lay-ups and dunks. At the other end, there's no one filling the gap made by Sevilla's absence. Daughtery is 1 for 6 from deep. Hope he finds the range in the second haf.

At least the Beach is missing free throws.

Today we have to hope that Bakersfield can upset CSUN and Fullerton can do likewise to UCSD (and they're both at home). If the Ags can beat the Beach, there will be a four way tie for the third seed.

Yesterday was a big deal for UC Davis. All the "right" teams lost leaving us only a game behind third place. A split on the road next week would mean the Ags finish 11-9. A 6 way tie would be possible!
