Hmmm, maybe the Eagles defense IS as bad as advertised. Seems like UCD's offense often starts slow and wonder if it's because their coaching staff is testing the opposing defense before they open things up? I note their scoring plays averaged 34 yards.

#116 is pretty bad considering there are only 129 FCS schools. #98 is not a whole lot better, but let's not rely too much on statistics,

I remember following the team on the internet and (if my memory serves, which is increasingly not the case) I saw the playoff loss to EWU on one of the ESPN channels. First time I ever saw that red field, ugh.

I forgot how badly they slipped after 2021. Too bad we didn't play them in 2022.

I stand corrected. It's women's beach volleyball plus men's volleyball, and men's swiming/diving as well as women's water polo. All staying in the Big West.

The faculty NCAA rep for Hawaii is a friend of mine and he told me that the move is effective as of 2026, but the sports that the MWC does not have, e.g. women's volleyball, will stay with the Big West.
