Looking at some of Sac's past games, it looks like Conklin was the whole offense: vs. Cal Poly he accounted for 88.8% of the yardage; today vs the Ags, 87.1%; vs. Portland State, 68.8%; vs. Weber State, 66.9% and vs. EWU, 66.6%. Maybe this is Coach Thompson's game plan, but I suspect it's largely because the kid is just very good. The way he could throw on the move and make pinpoint passes was impressive. Hard to blame our secondary, plus, I think we only sacked him once.

Hard to believe that Sac State lost to Cal Poly and Portland State.

Oh ye of little faith! Momentum is shifting. The D needs to feed off it and hold the Hornets now. Lots of time left.

Hornets are a lot better than their record. I get the sense that Conklin has made big strides this season. He's going to be a problem for us for a few more years.

Cal has scored twice to go ahead of Stanford 24-21 with 2:40 left in the game.

In addition to Scott Marsh and whomever he's teamed with there were one or two others. Just saying this pair is calling it fairly and objectively.

I like the Sac State broadcast guys. They're about as balanced in their call as anyone in the Big Sky while still making it clear whose side their on. They also make some good observations.

I guess C. J. Hutton is still hampered by his injury, wearing a brace.

I've seen this movie before: Heavily favored team scores first and easily. Underdogs are playing in what amounts to their bowl game. One key play pushes the momentum to the underdogs (in this case, stopping UCD on 4th and 1). Teams seem to go into reverse and suddenly, the favorite starts to mess up. Ags gotta turn it around.

That was almost too easy. Guess the refs wanted to make it a bit harder. That was one of the worst spots I've ever seen.

Hope Ags don't do what Cal is doing right now against Stanford: down 14-0 in the first quarter.
