• Week 9: Weber State @ UC Davis
That's complete bush league by them. I think we're making some pretty good heated rivalries besides Sac and Poly: EWU runs up the score last with their coach's "leave no doubt" arttitude and now this celebrating by Weber and their fans when an Aggie is possibly seriously injured...no tit for tat... just cleanly beat the crap out of them the next time we meet...
  • Week 9: Weber State @ UC Davis
I was also taken aback by the players and the fans reaction. Yes, it was a extremely hard, clean hit and they recovered the fumble but to continue celebrating while he was lying motionless was very poor sportsmanship.

Did you notice that Hawk and the Aggie coaches had to go out on the field and round up some of the Aggie players at the end of the 3rd quarter and get them off the field? It seems that they were not happy with the WSU players jumping up and down and celebrating wildly with their coaches? Not sure what was going on there...
  • Week 9: Weber State @ UC Davis
Jaylin White took a viscous hit on the kickoff to start the second half. It looked like he was momentarily unconscious and was lying motionless on the turf. It was good to see that he was able to walk off the field slowly. It was a scary hit. He got absolutely pancaked. I hope he is ok.

Jasper Friis would be a great addition if we could get him. He sounds like a academically minded young man who intended to major in applied mathematics. Aggie athletics and academics go hand in hand so I hope he takes a good look at our program. He also retweeted the tweet from Cal's TE McCallan Casties who is transferring to the Aggies so we are at least on the radar.

  • Sac State football back?
Taylor is so established in Sacramento and I think he would love to be the coach that builds the Hornets into an FCS power.
  • Week 9: Weber State @ UC Davis
We'll have to play a whole lot better to stay in the game with Sac. They're for real this year and Hornet Stadium will be bursting with Hornet fans. The Buzz is on in Sac...
  • Keelan Doss: Raider Watch
9 Raiders caught passes today from Carr and Doss wasn't one of them so I'm not sure if he played at all.
  • Sac State football back?
Well I was certainly impressed with his creative play calling when they steamrolled Montana. The Griz didn't have a clue as to how to defend the Sac playbook. Taylor also has tremendous connections with schools in the greater Sacramento area and he'll be able to land some great local recruits because of that. I've always felt that Sac is a sleeping giant that just needed the right catalyst to really get them going and Taylor may just be that catalyst.

It was rare to have such a mobile big as Morgan was. Her speed and agility was practically unstoppable in the Big West. None of our bigs have that kind of agility so, I think you're right, we need them to play good D, clog up the middle, block out, snag rebounds and make opportunistic shots. I like it that Stobbart can step out and hit the 3 too. Athletic, quick forwards with size could them problems inside though. It will be interesting to see how Jen decides to utilize our bigs this year.
  • Sac State football back?
Taylor could be a strong candidate for the Eddie Robinson Coach of the Year Award this year...same award Hawk won last year.
  • 2019-20 WBB
Thanks for the all the updates! I hope Stobbart comes around. She was a highly ranked post player when we recruited her. I expected big things from her but she seems to have struggled a bit since she arrived. Maybe with more playing time she'll settle in. Nice to hear that Gray and Turner look pretty good as true freshmen.

    Who have been our scorers?
  • 2019-20 WBB
We've had trouble with teams that press us in years past with the last couple of years being the exception.
  • 2019-20 WBB
Svanholm has to sit out a year due to the D1 transfer rule.
  • 2019-20 WBB
Sounds like there's a lot of work to do for the Ags. Stanislaus State was not a very good D2 team last year.
  • 2019-20 WBB
Thanks guys! Love the look of the court!
  • 2019-20 WBB
No is no media coverage at all for these exhibition games. No live stats...nothing...so please post up scores and your observations. Thanks!
  • Week 9: Weber State @ UC Davis
I'm hoping that Thomas takes a medical redshirt for this season given that our playoff hopes are all but gone. It would be nice to have him back and healthy for 2 more years.
