I believe that is the actual board, some pre-game broadcast for a Women's game mentioned a board was already installed on that side but the camera angle didn't allow me to see it at all.

Honestly I think it's fine from that side. It's the side with the least amount of seating and no upper tier stands. Having it on one side will also have some advantages for commencement, concerts, and other events with stages that are held in the U Center (seems that's the nickname they're shooting for).

A center board would be ideal but if it was prohibitively expensive to mount it / install multiple screens instead of one, then I'm fine letting the funds flow to other programs instead.

Essentially confirms that tomorrow is a play in game.

Only 5 at large spots now so I think being #4 is about the best to be hoped for with 1 loss
  • Week 5: #9 Eastern Washington @ #11 UC Davis
They only announced student tickets yesterday (or Monday, I forget) so there might be some reserved student seating. But wow, the season ticket holders must have all jumped on the presale

I think the Sagarain algorithm just doesn't "know" how to handle only half the teams playing. It also seems to favor the Big Sky (and particularly UCD and Weber), which may be something to do with factoring in preseason variables and the BSC having fewer games than some other conferences' schools

Didn't notice anything weird about the channel 31 broadcast like that. Like DrMike said we're getting the same feed.

HOWEVER, it could be there is some setting on your Pluto App where it's trying to send too big of a picture and cutting off part of the picture on your screen; I've seen it before and can maybe be fixed in TV "Overscan" settings. All that means is there's some sloppy camera work by the TV crew since it's generally best practice to be conservative with the edges of the screen, since some TVs or monitors will cut them off and others won't.

It really looked to me that the staff thought we could establish the ground game -- with our admittedly very good #2 back and OL and mobile QB -- and keep ISU's decent-ish offense off the field. Their record doesn't really indicate they can play particularly strong defense, but no UG and a shaky day for HR today allowed the Bengals to play their best D of the season.

That failed, but our defense rose to the occasion anyway

I DON'T KNOW IF I AGREE WITH THAT BUT WHAT A BONKERS SET OF DOWNS

    TD ISU

I think the defense might be a bit worn out, which I'm not upset about. This game isn't on them

Lol the ESPN "percent chance to win" tracker had a vertical line on that play as UCD's chances skyrocketed

(To be fair he's having a pretty good day today though)
  • Week 4: Idaho state at UC Davis
Larison averaging a stunning 12 YPC, mostly due to the two TD runs though

Still haven't decided what I want out of that game. Weber losing puts the conference champtionship in play especially with that LARISON TD

    Actually great defensive series there
